Soraru-san knew I existed...

FOR LIKE 0.3 SECONDS TODAY….

I feel like this is one of those things in your life that you tell your grandchildren, except I don’t plan on having children so I dunno where these fictional grand kids have come from.

ALAS, Soraru-san streamed this morning as I was getting off the bus for work. Normally I miss all the streams anyone does in Japan because the time difference mean their peak time is usually when I’m working.

I have literally never clicked a notification in my life, and holy fuck this precious bean already had 13,000+ other people watching..

That has to be a record because how did everyone get there before me?!?!

ANYWAY… So I didn’t understand much but he was talking about clothing and I’m amusing it’s merch? And then something about an event? And then I think he was answering a few questions but the chat was going so fast I don’t understand how he managed to see anything haha. I really didn’t understand much at all, but I felt honoured to have been able to finally catch a live stream by one of the many Utaites I love to listen to.

So I threw a fiver, because I’m British and we use pounds, and I wanted to give something to Soraru-san because his stuff has really helped me through bad times.

I couldn’t understand much, as I say, but shortly after I sent it he mentioned not understanding something, and saying thank you, so yeah, Soraru-san didn’t understand my English sadly, not that I expected him to, but he saw my message and for a few moments he knew I existed, and thanked me and if that didn’t make today the best day of my life, I don’t know what will.
