i love my friends i’ve met here, i know a lot of bad stuff has happened and i don’t like to interact with the fandom directly anymore but @vessel214, @beastswinethief, @feathery-bastard, @dejaroze, and @msfisherot are all people who never had to interact with me further than lotf and still chose to become treasured people in my inner circle

this fandom can be a beautiful place for meeting people sometimes, as it often serves as a jumping off point for people to enter other fandoms where their interests may initially converge

I totally agree! I hope one day I can be friends with people deeper than a shared interest in Lord of the Flies! I'm so happy for you to find people you love and feel comfortable with!

Your art makes me realize Jenkins gives me crow vibes.

A bird known for trickery and with very divided opinions about them, plus often associated with trouble.

he reminds me of a crow too!! the negative association with crows is strange to me. crows are intelligent and kind and i find it disappointing to see them get as much hate as they do

jenkins i feel is a character with a lot of nuance but unfortunately he doesn't get enough screen time to explore it (and with the latest seasons im not entirely confident it ever will be explored). in an ideal world him and the other shed ghosts get more character development

the shed ghosts collectively remind me a bit of crows: they are scavenging birds that have a lot of communication within the group and i think that the shed sort of reflects that, especially with the mansion ghosts not thinking very highly of them, though i wish we knew more about the relationship between both the shed ghosts among each other and the shed ghosts with the mansion ghosts
