Spicy Six as Troubled Birds
The best part about former mean girl Steve is the fact that Eddie seems to have just been waiting for someone to complain about Dustin, like he didn't be the one to start it because he's just a kid, but as soon as he's given the opportunity? It's his tone, right?
inktober day 3, iām very ill so u all will have to settle for this
Steve is ABSOLUTELY the ādrug dealers girlfriend whose the passenger seat princess ā¢ā and just liked going on little adventures when Eddie goes to sell. Is more than thrilled that date night is stopping by a couple parties and a few dudes houses, 7-11 runs, and eventually making out by lovers lake. Give this boy a hickie and a slurpee and its a fucking movie as far as heās concerned.
Eddie is the plug whose always in a rush bc āI left the boyfriend in the car man what do you want make up your mindā. The ātakes Stevie everywhere like a little dogā. The ābabe you got me a slurpee š„ŗ a-and a red velvet cookie?š„ŗā the āmaking out with Steve at the mouth of someoneās drivewayā.

Eddie needing to complain about someone and thinking that Steve would be a good listener. Instead, he joins in on the bitching. Which is why they start hanging out together more- they both find it's actually really fun to gossip and insult people together.
We nailed it, honey see you on the other side
Modern au
Steve absolutely refuses to let anyone know where he lives. He loves his family, he really does, but they have no sense of privacy. And he hasn't actually told them about his roommate, Eddie.
Eddie, who calls him sweetheart, baby, darling, doll, princess, or Stevie instead of just Steve.
Eddie, who bakes brownies when Steve says he's had a bad day because "chocolate makes everything better, Stevie".
Eddie, who burst into Steve's bedroom during their first week living together holding a knife because he thought Steve was being killed. Who, every night since, comes into Steve's room to comfort him after a night terror.
Eddie, who practically holds his hand through one-shots so that Steve can learn to play Dustin's stupid dragon game.
Eddie, who bullies Steve about how long it takes for him to do his hair, only to blush and ask Steve to do his hair too "Curls are hard, Stevie, don't you love me?" He'll plead, shaking his clasped hands together while Steve tries not to snort at the frankly ridiculous display.
Eddie, who shuffles through the apartment in the mornings with his eyes closed, leaning against anything near him until he has at least a half pot of coffee.
Eddie, who Steve is hopelessly in love with. He's not ready for his family to know just how pitiful he is to love someone who he could never hope would love him back.
Okay but what about a modern college AU where, after being considered a loser and the freak of Hawkins high, Eddie becomes one of the most popular guys on campus? And what if Steve doesnāt really fit in college and heās just an ordinary student like many others, mostly unnoticed?
Maybe Eddie likes the attention but also gets tired after a few weeks, and when he sees former King Steve Harrington walking around the campus he has to ask him āman, how did you do it in high school?ā
And Steve, having figuring out his shit ages ago, simply replies ābuy me dinner first and Iāll tell you all of my secretsā with a wink.
(Students walking by give curious glances to a red-in-the-face Eddie Munson and wonder whoās the guy giggling next to him).
inktober day 1: haunted house, based on those memes of ppl getting the absolute crap scared out of them in haunted houses (donāt ask me why i chose this particular group of ppl it just felt right)
Eddie is high. He isn't sure he's ever been as high as he currently is, though he just wants to get even more high.
The stress of the Upside Down, being charged for murder, almost dying, being arrested only to be released because he isn't being charged for muder, everyone still thinking he's a murderer, but with the added twist of thinking he caused the earthquake/Vecna opening the gates, having to go back to fight Vecna againā¦
Eddie hasn't been able to relax at all, which is why he's currently getting stoned out of his mind. He's pointedly ignoring the concern Steve has been aiming at him, trying to act like he can't hear him when he repeatedly asks if it's safe for Eddie to be having that much, or mixing what he is.
He risks glancing over at him. He ends up staring. Which isn't surprising, Steve has always been magnetic to Eddie. He currently sees no reason to pretend like he isn't staring though, offering a smile when Steve catches him. Eddie smiles wider when Steve blushes. It's sweet, a pretty look on him.
He's reaching out without meaning too, surprising himself when he spots his hand brushing Steves cheek. His skin is smoother than he expected. Steve looks frozen, confused. But Eddie has already started touching him, doesn't see any reason to stop now.
"You're really pretty," Eddies voice is hushed.
His fingers trace the growing pink on his cheeks, following the blush up his cheekbones until he's cupping his cheek. Gently rubs his thumb across his cheek, feeling the warmth. It matches the lovely warmth in his chest.
"So, so⦠so pretty. Pretty boy." Eddie moves his hands to his hair, gently brushing his fingers through it so he doesn't mess it up. It looks great, it's soft, losing none of its bounce under the attention. "You're perfect, huh. Perfect, pretty boy."
"Ok," Steve clears his throat. "You've definitely had enough. I thought you had a better tolerance than this."
"Nooo," Eddie whines when Steve gets up, starts putting his weed and shit back where he'd pulled it out from, packing it up neatly.
"Stevie, come back, I was having a moment."
Steve barks out a laugh, looking round at him with a raised eyebrow. "Sure, yeah, you were."
"Please come back?" Eddie gives him best attempt at puppy dog eyes, tilting his head a little and outstretching his arms, making grabby hands at him. "I jus' wanna cuddle."
Steve sighs, trying to act like it's a chore. But, as soon as he's within range, Eddie grabs him and yanks him down. He yelps, landing half in Eddies lap, flushing. Eddie just wraps his arms around him, humming happily, gently rubbing Steves back.
"Needy," Steve mutters. He doesn't sound as angry as he aims for and, even if he did, it's immediately undermined by how he relaxes. How he curls up more against Eddie, tucking his face into his neck.
"This is nice," Eddie smiles. "We should do this more."
"What, cuddle?"
"Noooo, hang out! You're like, super cool now, Stevie. Not like high school, like actually cool. It's so great to- to, like, see that!"
"Thanks Eddie."
They stay like that for the rest of the night- even when Steve gets up to put a movie on, goes straight back to that spot and lets Eddie pull him back down. He just hopes that Eddie doesn't regret being so physically affectionate once he sobers up.
But, when morning does come, Eddie flushes when he realizes that they're still curled up together on the couch. That they'd fallen asleep like that and, not only have they ended up more tangled up together, but Steve has somehow ended up completely on top of him.
When Steve yawns, lifts his head, he beams at him. He looks so bright and happy. It makes Eddies heart skip a beat, both with the almost painful amount of affection but also with hope- that maybe Steve, at the very least, wants to be close friends.
Although, Eddie slowly realizes, that doesn't explain the blush. He's seen people drape themselves all over Steve and he never blushes or get embarrassed. Maybe there is hope after all.
