“Salad”

On the left I give you a sweet potato and Yukon potato salad with roasted peppers, black beans, corn and a honey Dijon sauce.

On the right I present a sun dried tomato sauce with a “pesto” (emphasis on pesto because I used sunflower seeds instead of pine nuts) with feta cheese.

Rice noodles in a spicy gochugon coconut broth (chicken stock, fish stock, fish sauce and coconut milk) with shrimp chips and marinated pork loin.

Congee is good

Back story, my grandmother would make it with zero flavour, like no salt, pepper, stock, nothing, so I grew up disgusted with congee but now I love it. So welcome to China 🇨🇳

Chicken flavour congee with ginger, garlic and poached chicken thigh from the poached chicken, some rice and two dipping sauces, a chilli sauce and an oil sauce.

New country who dis?

Today was India 🇮🇳 so we made vindaloo beef with lentils and potatoes, with a bunch of spices like tumeric, cumin, coriander and much more.

Thanksgiving in January

Gobble gobble 🦃

Stuff roasted turkey (stuffed with apple, sautéed onions and bread) with oven roasted herb potatoes, brown sugared rainbow carrots and a blonde gravy.
