he’s fairly tall, standing at at 6′2″!
Are they okay with their height?
hubert thinks it’s normal for his age, so it’s not a big deal. for the most part, he hovers over most people and that’s most entertaining. some do point out how tall he is (probably) but he does not care too much for that, but he does think it’s the good height to intimidate others.
his hair is almost the same length as before five years ago, until he decided to brush it and make it more... clean. it’s much wavier as well. most of his hair falls down towards the right side, covering his right eye and the back is much shorter in comparison.
Do they spend a lot of time on their hair / grooming?
before anyone asks, hubert does indeed brush his hair with a comb so his hair is particularly smooth even though it may not look like it at all. i would like to say that he uses a specific hair products (mainly soft gel) for his hair to treat it but only the minimal amount which explains how wavy his hair got. it is also to keep the strands from the back of his hair... somewhat neat and in tact.
Does your muse care about their appearance / what others think?
it may surprise a few people but hubert does care somewhat about his appearance mainly due to the fact that he’s lady edelgard’s retainer and he wants to look as presentable as possible. and well, you sort of have to take your appearance onto account especially when you’re the minister of the imperial household with important duties.
then again, he still holds the responsibility of disposing unsavory burdens for the emperor so i will say that keeping up a great appearances is not to be solely his goal. but when it comes to what others think of him in general, yes and no. hubert von vestra is generally feared and that’s how they should feel, he thinks but at the same time, he’s not easily bothered or shaken by mere rumors either.

Peace or conflict? this is hard because hubert’s life has always been involved around conflict but guess it’s better to live in peace than to live within a war. however, he feels that the world will never just remain peaceful forever.

Many acquaintances or a few close friends? a few close friends because at the same time, hubert does not easily make any friends due to his... trust issues and his inability to initiate long lasting conversation. hubert hates rambling on and on.
Reading or playing a game? oh man, he does both. he reads for a good amount of time throughout some days of the week but he enjoys games too (not any game that a normal person would expect, however). no preference, really!

What are some fond memories your muse has?
to be honest, hubert does not have many fond memories to begin with. however, i would say that hubert was mostly? fond of the memories of being in the garreg mach monastery with the black eagles as well as the rest of the students. that was around one of the first times that he got to spend leisure time even if it was fleeting, getting to talk about normal topics with his classmates and etc. apart from his sometimes peaceful days at the monastery, i would say spending his time with edelgard at the palace, guarding her while he was a child and seeing her grow.
Is it easy for your muse to kill?
yes and also no? it’s fairly easy for hubert to kill but at the same time, he’s also a reasonable man so one would have to one, be a threat to edelgard or cause corruption within the empire’s anarchy. i mean, hubert murdered his own father because he played a hand in said corruption.
What’s it like when your muse breaks down?
hubert’s breakdowns are... dramatic to say the least. there are no intense verbal outbursts, rarely when he “breaks down” but more so he’ll go on some silent rampage against the culprit who caused him emotional turmoil. this may or may not involve him cutting a bloody path in his wake but no one ever really sees hubert break down out in the open.
if it does not involve anyone but his state of mind, he’d say awake for long hours at a time, more prone to subtly... threatening anyone who gives him a hard time in this state. he’ll overwork himself to the bone, almost sacrificing his own health and that’s how he usually deals with stress and more.
Is your muse capable of trusting someone with their life?
hubert thinks that he does kind of have to sometimes when they are at war but also when he’s planning house vestra’s war at the same time. he’s a secretive man, he does not trust people easily but hubert would actively seek out those that he can trust, slowly but surely. already he does put trust in a few of his former classmates so there’s also that (mostly due to their usefulness or genuine likeness).
What’s your muse like when they’re in love?
hubert is not the biggest flirt by any means but that does not mean that he’s incapable of teasing which would sometimes come off as flirting to some (every so often he means it). he has never been intensely in love nor would he ever admit to being in love, at least not now but hubert does blush every so often. once he’s in love, he would do anything for his loved one, as in kill for them and protect them from harm by any means necessary. he can also be rather touch starved (but he’s always the one initiating it when he’s in love).
