[☾ ] – The Pale Lady hummed in a pleasant feeling at his words. Ahumble reply to an offering, even if it was just as small as food ordrink was still quite foreing compared to people always asking favorsin exchange for deals, so it carried a good sensation & a way toget in her better side. Responding with a little nod & a gesturethat almost seemed like her dainty fingers were drawing a form in thecrispy air of the night, a chuckle followed.
“Youaren’t difficult at all, Monsieur. If anything, you are one of thenicest companions I’d have the pleasure to encounter & conversewith in a long while.”
Shewasn’t at all leaving the comfortable embrace of the fur coat aroundher frail form, that much was certain. “&I think you are absolutely right! Who would dare to listen to a talewithout something delicious to delight on… Let me see… I’m mostlyfond of tea, but I’ve heard Freljordian tend to prefer Goat’s Milk, don’t you?” Stoppingthe small motions of her hand, & with a little snap of herfingers, a wooden jar & a couple of cups had appeared in a littletable by her side.
Allowingsilence only to be broken by a the crackling fire & somesurrounding poros purrs -perhaps attracted to the drink’s smell-, theNoxian Lady served both along with a little extra bowl for the smallcritter gathering close.
“Luckilyfor you, my Dear, I’m not only a Traveller passing by… but also aSorceress with more than just a silly trick~…Don’tworry, I’m not stealing anyone for this, just a little accomodationof my own provisions. Here, please enjoy a sip~”She gave him a little confident wink with a hint of childishplayfulness; even when her semblance remained elegant while offeringhim the wooden cup. It looked huge in her own hands but assumed inhis own it would fit just well.
Promptly, she made also a pause to take the little bowl down for the Poro, which chitterly happy. “Now,what may I offer you for a snack before indulging in the tale?…anything the Gentleman would have a preference?”
Braum was always happy to provide contentment to those who hosted him, whether that contentment was brought by stories and good food, or by work being taken off of their shoulders. Hearing the woman give the statement that he was one of the most pleasant companions she had the pleasure of conversing with made him smile, thinking that he was giving her something she needed in that moment. Sometimes, Braum found, most people wanted to be heard and acknowledged, and sometimes, even the powerful felt mute. And Braum could tell that she wasn’t as dainty as she looked. Not all power was measured in muscle, like his own. And she only proved it as she gave a snap of her fingers, and made a small table and a set of cups and a jar appear!
His gaze ventured to the suddenly appearing cups and jug, smiling wide. “Impressive!” Came the laughter, clapping a hand to his abdomen as laughter rumbled from him like an avalanche in the distance. The only distraction they faced was the sudden swarm of poro that had appeared with her magic! He laughed at this as well, watching as she poured the milk into the bowls and setting them down for Poro to swarm, all while keeping some for him at least. “Thank you.” He gave his thanks as he took the wooden cup, gingerly taking it from her and beaming as she winked at him in the process. He sipped at the milk, giving a contented sigh while he moved to sit upon the ground. The lady could conjure a chair should she desire, but Braum was a farmhand! Sitting on the ground worked for him quite well.
“Snack?” The big man echoed as she questioned him, as if anything more than the milk was rude! “Braum could not ask for more than what you have given, but if you have anything of the Freljord magicked away, haha!” He beamed as he made the joke, sipping at his milk a moment later. He honestly didn’t expect her to give him anything, as the drink was more than enough for a good story. “Hmmm, are there any Freljordian stories you know of? Braum does not wish to bore you with story you know!”
