People are so easily falling for "Actually these new regulations are good" and i don't understand it...

Last season, the issue was that DRS allowed no overtakes. This season, people see a few more overtakes and suddenly the regulations are amazing. EXCEPT the overtakes are literally manufactured!

The new overtakes boil down to "Person X leads. Person Y uses battery to overtake. Person X uses battery to take it back, person X still leads." It's literally "fake" overtakes, they hold no real weight and do not change the standings 90% of the time.

"Great first 12 laps!" The first 12 laps were always entertaining. And now we see DRS trains post lap 12 again, except it's no longer called DRS.

I think people are easily entertained, and coupled with the lack of overtakes last season, people are just willing to watch anything.
