I am a soul Calibur fan i really am but there are several characters who i would like to take out of soul calibur and put into another series of my own making where the writing is actually consistent

this is about pyrrha alexandra mostly. a deeply tragic character except you wouldn't know it because approximately 2 seconds of the story mode is spent actually exploring her incredibly complex backstory that you wouldn't know anything about if not for the wiki.

quite genuinely i think all of the SC5 newbies had potential to be really interesting characters in the complete version of the story mode that we'll never see, but pyrrha is the most frustrating to me because you can tell she was *SO CLOSE* to being a well-written character but anything that doesn't. directly involve patroclus happens offscreen orz. This isn't even patroclus hate because i think he was also really close to being good but pyrrha is basically already a great character who's just presented kinda terribly

Barriss Offee is one of the most bizarrely intriguing characters I’ve ever seen. She has gifted kid burnout so bad she became a murderer. She’s Ahsoka’s gay best frenemy. They are exes who went through a bad breakup. They never dated. She lives in Ahsoka’s head rent-free for at least two years afterwards. She got traumatized on Geonosis, then resolved to face her fear, went back to Geonosis, and got double traumatized with a side of brain damage. Everyone thinks she’s green even though she’s yellow. Her diabolical plot fell apart because she told her co-conspirator how cool Ahsoka is. She speaks in six episodes. Her plotline has been left unresolved for ten years.
