There is such an underlying homoeroticism to so much of Che and Fidel's relationship, even the things that do not seem that outwardly romantic

I was thinking of this again, because initially I just thought it was silly how Fidel seemed so jealous or possessive. Really what other reason would he have to be behaving like that?

But then I realised. Che was having to reassure his wife that he was still hers because of how much time he had been spending with Fidel and how close they were becoming

The implication there being that Fidel and Hilda are in some kind of competition for Che which is just so... homoerotic
