The most intimate thing we can do is to allow people we love most see us at our worst. At our lowest. At our weakest. True intimacy happens when nothing is perfect.
Amy Harmon, The Song of David (via wordsnquotes)
So here’s a little comparison between one week on accutane and now, about a month after completing accutane? I haven’t really been keeping track of how long it’s been. But honestly the difference is so huge and looking at these old pictures makes me really appreciate how my skin looks now. But even when my skin was really bad, I still had friends, a job, a boyfriend type thing but not exactly a boyfriend if you know what I mean… My point is the way your skin looks doesn’t define who you are. If the people in your life are worth having around then they won’t judge you just because of some acne, and you shouldn’t judge yourself either. I was beautiful then and I’m beautiful now.
From before accutane to around a month after accutane. I can very easily say that accutane has changed my life and made a world of a difference. I know I’ve said it all before, but so many great things have happened since this medication and I’m so incredibly thankful. Before I started, which was actually around a year ago this time I really disliked myself, it was so hard to go to school or even leave my room. I didn’t want anyone to see my face and I missed out on so many opportunities because of it. I can’t even express how happy I am now and how incredible it feels to touch real skin, my actual skin without acne. It’s Aghhh I don’t even have words for it. I hope you all have clear skin and tons of confidence one day. You all deserve it so much :) best of luck and lots of love ❤️ and also, can we just take a moment for my poor eyebrows, they suffered heavily back in the day oh my gosh.
You are not crazy, you’re just lonely, and loneliness is a hell of a drug. Loneliness is a hell of a drug

How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.

I forgive, but I also learn a lesson. I won’t hate you, but I’ll never get close enough for you to hurt me again. I can’t let my forgiveness become foolishness.

one day, you will realize how some people are not meant to be yours. one day, you will have to move on, and sometimes the most important thing to do in the world is to let go.

You ruin your life by desensitizing yourself. We are all afraid to say too much, to feel too deeply, to let people know what they mean to us. Caring is not synonymous with crazy. Expressing to someone how special they are to you will make you vulnerable. There is no denying that. However, that is nothing to be ashamed of. There is something breathtakingly beautiful in the moments of smaller magic that occur when you strip down and are honest with those who are important to you. Let that girl know that she inspires you. Tell your mother you love her in front of your friends. Express, express, express. Open yourself up, do not harden yourself to the world, and be bold in who, and how you love. There is courage in that.
Bianca Sparacino (via wordsnquotes)
She knows what it’s like to be in love, she just doesn’t know what it’s like to be loved.

We’re both broken. We don’t need to put each other back together. We need each other to put ourselves back together.
