Envious of fictional characters who always have jobs they can solve by hitting with a sword. All my problems require emails, and those are quite difficult to hit with a sword.
you have to be careful reading too many things that are good/smart/well-written bc then you encounter something that isnt and you get confused like ? why didnt they just make this good ? were they stupid

thinking of her
I have seen at least two online takes that went something like “don’t let them do to Platner what they did to Franken!” And my first thought was that I guess it’s nice that at least one thing unites that broader left despite the bitter legacy of the 2016 primary. My second thought was,
One time I was engaging in raw milk related activities and a cop showed up because I’d accidentally tripped an alarm and I was trying to explain to the cop, who was also 22 years old, that I needed to finish milking this goat and he was like, “I will not be able to know what you are doing to this animal because I am not a farmer and this is Detroit.” and we eventually worked it out and I took the milk home and it was all the stoned janitor’s fault anyway, but this young cop’s words forever echo in my head.
Also we were hiding two illegal goats belonging to a trans woman in her 70s who lived a block away. This is not important and utterly not of interest to this cop.
My only real point here beyond, once again you sure can have shit in Detroit, is that buying raw milk at the store is absolute loser behavior.
the thing I love most about how tumblr users use tags is that it’s like what if a social media website had a footnotes system

it's called a coelacanth because when you're down there you can coe it

so far one theme of the 30s for me has been realizing that literally every human being on earth who appears completely cool and collected and together with it at first glance has some threshold past which enough known information about them will shatter that mystique completely. i don't even say this negatively or pessimistically it's just been helpful to keep in mind that we're all like that.
a couple weeks ago I got so stressed that I started literally hallucinating. I was seeing a ghost lady out the corner of my eye. now what was that about?????
I forgot I hit the group chat with this
also not to violate copyright or anything, but it was 100% Kayako Saeki from the grudge. that was the first movie to genuinely terrify me as a kid, and I guess my brain was like “what are you so scared of right now ?? is it kayako saeki again? okay, I can try to find her in the room, no problemo”
Bonus: If I buy a book I get to keep it! The publisher can't turn up at my house at random and confiscate all the books I bought.
