biography:
Victoria was born into wealth, growing up she never had to worry about anything and she always got what she wanted. She was extremely spoiled, and she let everyone know it. It was basically tradition to become a lawyer in her. family, and then marry someone from law school. Her parents had done it, the same with her grandparents. She and her siblings were expected to do the same so there was a certain pressure on her growing up to do well, and get good grades. Victoria would never admit it but she never felt good enough and she put a lot of pressure on herself from a young age, not only to do well but to maintain a pristine reputation. Victoria only managed to avoid college for a year after she finished high school, she promised her parents she would go once she had traveled the world and that’s exactly what she did. At 19 she reluctantly enrolled in law school at NYU. Victoria struggled with the workload, she was smart enough but she lacked interest. But she managed to stick it out and even met a boy in her second year. It was exactly how her family planned it. Victoria believed she could easily get through it with his help. They were so in love, or so she thought. She was in her last year when she found out by snooping through his Snapchat and finding numerous explicit messages. A month or two later she was sitting on her bathroom floor staring at a positive pregnancy test. Her world was falling apart and she couldn’t even bring herself to tell her ex about the baby growing in her stomach - she didn’t even want the baby growing in her stomach. But the universe had other plans - a week after finding out she was in hospital undergoing emergency surgery due to an ectopic pregnancy. Here she was, stuck. She loved the city but it felt haunted now, and so did becoming a lawyer, so she dropped out only a few months away from graduating. Thankfully her parents didn't find out straight away. She knew she had to find something else to do so they didn't complain, enrolling in cosmetology school on a whim and somehow becoming obsessed with all things nails in the process but her family could only be in the dark so long. Victoria had one of her sisters come to visit, thinking she could trust her but when she returned to Aurora Bay, she told their parents, causing them to block Tori from accessing her trust fund. This caused Vicki to return with her tail between her legs, attempting to repair what she'd broken with her family. She moved into an apartment by herself and got herself a job at the local salon to prove she could be responsible and stand on her own two feet but her relationship with her entire family remains strained. @aurorabayaesthetic
