jessie is fiercely independent for a kid her age due to her parents neglect. she’s always done things on her own & she has a better understanding of how the world works than most people her age. she’s pretty good at budgeting, at communicating, and at dealing with things on her own. her parents will give her money a lot more than the typical allowance so that she won’t have to come ask them for things, such as food or clothes. she’s had a teacher or two take an interest in her before because of signs that she has shown. it’s also led to a lot of problems with her emotions. she has a problem recognizing what emotion she’s feeling other than anger, & she won’t come to terms with many things in her life like how she’s feeling or how a situation affects her because she doesn’t really know how. she’s intelligent in a lot of ways, no thanks to her parents, but their neglect is a form of abuse and it has shaped her negatively in many other ways too.

jessie really shines tomorrow. halloween has always been her favorite thing to celebrate, as it always has been her parents favorite thing to celebrate too. she loves all things spooky, loves scary movies, loves dressing up.. it really is a good day for her.
