Vidya Shorts is a video game streaming site that strives to be unique and emphasizes on community. The goal of Vidya Shorts is to offer memorable experiences through its streams and to serve as a fun community for everyone. Vidya Shorts was founded on January 14th, 2010. The Livestream channel on which the site is based, Comfyandeasytowear, was created on July 21, 2009.

We raised $520 for the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital!

Thanks to your efforts on Saturday, December 14th 2019 we passed our goal of $500 during Ghoulston’s holiday charity where he played 15 hours of Super Mario World: Chaos Edition. Thank you to everyone who showed up, bigger thanks to those who donated, and we hope you all have a happy holiday season!

Super Charity Merryo Bros. begins Friday, December 13th at noon!

UPDATE: This event has been postponed indefinitely due to unforeseen consequences. A replacement charity stream will happen on Saturday, December 14th starting at noon for about 10+ hours. -Ghoulston

SUMMER-EVE UPDATE

Hey, guys. It’s me. Ghoulston. I am here to tell you about some cool things in preparation this summer.

#GameClub is still going strong. Our final meeting for the spring games is Sunday, June 16th at 8pm EST. We will be talking about the game Bully and discussing future formatting for the #GameClub such as which games will be next and how we’ll be selecting them. Please join us on the 16th that night or share your thoughts in our Discord.

The Summer Gauntlet will be back as of the 21st and it will be returning to its original ways. We will also provide the Iron Gauntlet challenge for those who would like a little more difficulty in their summer gauntlet. More details soon.

The Vidyalympics will be back this summer. In mid-July we will have a NES Online tournament for you Switch owners out there and we also have plans for a classic Vidyalympics tournament at some point.

We will also put together fantasy drafts, but not for football. Plans are to hold a draft for SGDQ runners and EVO players. More info on that will be announced on our Discord.

As always, we get together on Fridays to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate either with a bracket or in a friendly way. These are usually around 9pm EST so feel free to step into the ring, guh huh.

Super Mario Maker 2 is fast approaching and we will have events for that game depending on how many of us in the community get the game. Looking forward to many burning fests.
