But snow is magical. It quiets the world, blanketing everything as if tucking it in for the night. The trees change, wearing ice jewellery and eventually bowing beneath the weight. The crunch when you walk on fresh snow makes you feel like a kid chasing crispy leaves in autumn. And I am yet to spend time with people who can resist throwing a snowball, but maybe that tells you more about the people I am friends with….”

It's possibly my largest understatement of 2021, but my first week living in Switzerland was emotional.

For anyone who is interested, here is my brand new Patreon baby. I'm excited to be doing #incowrimo2020 properly this year. February is International correspondence month, InCoWriMo is pledging to send something written by hand; letter, postcard etc, every day of February. One of the ways I plan on slowing myself down this year and taking some time to enjoy the little things.
