At 9:00 AM, he approached his mother, clutching his head and complaining, “I have a headache.” She suggested he take a cart to school, but Swami quickly refused, believing it would only make him feel worse.

When his father found him still at home, he asked why he wasn’t at school. Swami stuck to his story, insisting he had a headache. However, his father didn’t buy it. He insisted that Swami go to school, even writing a letter to the headmaster about Samuel, Swami’s teacher. Swami had described Samuel as a violent man, hoping it would convince his father to let him stay home. Instead, his father became furious and decided to report Samuel.

Feeling guilty but determined, Swami took the letter to school, worried about the consequences for Samuel. What if his exaggerated complaints led to the teacher losing his job or even going to jail?
