NEW FIC! It’a JayVik again, no surprises there. It’s Canon Divergence, Devotee Jayce in Viktor’s commune!
OPEN IMAGES FOR BETTER UNDERSTANDING.
I’ve seen posts saying that Jayce lost weight in Season 2. And while I agree with the part that says he lost weight in the canyon, I do not think it applies to the whole season. I wasn’t sure of that, though, but I watched scenes from both seasons side by side and even made some charts of his face from Season 1 and Season 2 and, as you can clearly see, there is a difference. In Season 1, his features are very sharp, he’s muscular and all, but especially his face. It looks… small. But, in Season 2, his face is visibly rounded up with his cheeks much fuller and chin softer. Not as rectangular and sharp as in S1. It isn’t because of the beard, as it makes barely any difference when it’s this short like it is on him, so I wouldn’t trust that judgement either. I just think that Jayce gained weight, not much, but enough to make his face fuller, softer and thighs even bigger and stronger despite him having literally a broken leg.
To sum up, he gained weight, not lost it.
