Stop defining other’s sexualities

The amount of people hating on pan people, especially other members of the queer community is insane.

The prefix pan means all. And “not limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity” (Oxford dictionary)

It can also mean, “pansexuality is sexual, romantic, or emotional attraction towards people regardless of their sex or gender identity”

Or, “pansexual people may refer to themselves as gender-blind, asserting that gender and sex are not determining factors in their romantic or sexual attraction to others”

I don’t know where the idea that pan people have to have no preferences or types came from but that does not apply to all pan people.

Stop invalidating peoples sexualities. When someone says they are pan stop trying to argue that they are bi or something else.

Pan people are allowed to have types in how people act, look like, and personalities, etc. And these types might also correspond with different gender identities.

They might say that they are more interested in having a girlfriend right now, that doesn’t mean they are suddenly not attracted to all genders.

They could also be dealing with internalized homophobia, or the pressure to get into a “gay relationship”.

Overall, when people say they are pan or another sexuality stop trying to argue that they are something else. Stop diminishing and discrediting people’s sexuality, it just causes more harm.

Is my happiness depended on fanfics? ...yes

Looking for a new fandom so I can rapidly consume fanfics without having to sift through different tags desperately trying to find a fanfic I haven’t read before that fits my specific headcannons of the characters.

But at the same time I don’t think I can open myself up to new characters because I will also take on their personal problems as my own.

I do this for hours each day, searching, and longing for the perfect fic that makes me get comfortable in my seat and settled in for the long-haul.

All of this in quest for

Neither of them fetishized.

And they’re in one of the healthiest relationships, queer or not, I’ve ever seen in an action movie.

Two female leads, one of them Black, neither of them sexualized. 

 Not even ONCE. 

 Both of them bad ass as fuck. 

And they both have space to be their own characters, with their own arcs.

Directed by a Black woman.

You know what #467815 of the things I love about The Old Guard fandom is?

We’ve all agreed Nicky and Joe never tried to convert each other.

Instead, they REAFFIRM each other.

When they debate god, it’s the same being of love. When they talk of prophets, they value them all and know the scripture in multiple languages.

When Nicky’s wooden rosary finally rots away, Joe gets him a new mother-of-pearl one. When Joe’s prayer mat (he’s emotionally attached to it, okay) becomes threadbare, Nicky finds his new one. The Catholic Bible sits next to the Quran on the shelf in one of their many hideouts. Joe understands Nicky’s need to sit and ruminate on guilt. Nicky fasts with Joe during Ramadan and cooks Halal foods.

You guys just really GET IT. The idea that two different religions can compliment each other. You guys are the best.

I was rewatching the Witcher and I didn't notice this at first because I was crying having emotions, but in the scene on top of the mountain Renfri's brooch is shown next to Jaskier.

Which makes me think it represents Geralt involving himself with the problems of man and how this led to his freindship and inevitable fight with Jaskier. And now I'm sad again.

I'm at my Grandparents house, and my Grandma asks me if I want to help her with something. So obviously I'm like yeah whatever you need.

We go outside and she says she wants to transfer the tiny rose bushes into a bigger pot. As she picking the plants up she notices one of them has a dead stem.

She brings it up to eye level and says, "Why you little- stinker, now look at what you've done".

My Grandma then huffs and starts crushing the plant with her gloved hand. Then she puts it in the bottom of the new pot and starts filling the pot with dirt.

I'm like "what are you doing?"

And she says she is using this little disappointment as fertilizer for the rest of the roses.

Now I'm really concerned that my Grandma is Crowley.
