I just found an old love letter from my ex-gf ,Katie. It brings up all these old feelings. She’s the reason I haven’t been able to love since. I’m trying to move on in my life, but she’s out there, living her life, full of joy. I know it. I didn’t deserve her or her love. I will forever be a broken man, I suppose. Is happiness just a word, though? Can I find happiness? Katie, I miss you, please come back. I realize I have problems, mostly mental, but it wasn’t right. The way it ended. All because her parents didn’t think highly of me. She brought light into my dark world...light that only has been restored because of someone new. No one has magic to make your life better but you. And maybe that in of itself is a lot of responsibility but let your friends hold you up as you try and raise the Jimmy flag for yourself. As long as you live no one will do that for you. Accept the things you can't change. And have the strength to change the things you can. It maybe a dumb prayer but that doesn't mean it doesn't mean something.
