Persona In Real Time: March 5th

Persona 3 Reload

Aigis comes to Makoto's room early in the morning. She tells him that she, much like him, remembers everything that happened, including the promise they all made. The graduation ceremony has already begun, so the two of them head to the school rooftop and wait, hoping everyone else comes to their senses.

Makoto lies on Aigis's lap as she reflects on everything she's learned from her time with everyone. The beauty of life, and what it truly means to live, is to have people close to you. Having friends, having people close by you want to protect. These things give life meaning. Aigis vows to protect Makoto for the rest of time, because she knows as long as she can do that, everything will be worth it.

Makoto feels very tired. Aigis tells him it's alright for him to rest while they wait for everyone. After all, she isn't going anywhere. As everyone's voices come from inside the school building, Makoto takes in the spring breeze, and the comfort of being protected. He gives in to his sleepiness, and closes his eyes, one final time...
