David Suzuki in this interview about facing the reality of climate change and other environmental issues from Moyers & Company.
“I hadn’t dreamt of such an art of love. I was infinitely troubled by the softness of her touch and the murmur of her lovely voice. She appealed to my unawakened senses.”
— Vita Sackville-West, referring to Violet Trefusis in her autobiography featured in “Portrait of a Marriage” by Nigel Nicolson (via dearestvita)

2 minutes of Eve Polastri being done with Villanelle
cr: villanelleves on twitter
no ~professional comedy~ will ever be as funny as that scene in killing eve where villanelle’s like “what’s your phone password?” and eve’s like “1…2….3…………4” w one single tear rolling down her cheek
“He was right. You really did take chunks out of him.”
'the focus is unabashedly about the relationship and psyche of these two female characters'. 'The focus on this show is how much our characters are involved with each other in a deeply psychological way'. From an interview with Sandra that I bought today in the UK. It's all good guys 👌
LOVE THIS
Did you see the new Sandra interview where she said the fans are trying to make Villaneve into something it's not?
i saw the new sandra interview where she said the show isn’t just about the romance between eve and villanelle, yes. i also saw her talk about how the show has no specific political message along the lines of sexuality, which is something that phoebe waller-bridge said in the past and what makes the show so enjoyable imo. the bit about romance being off the table didn’t come from sandra or jodie directly, and this is a pre-season 2 article. romance was CLEARLY not off the table in season 2, so that part seemed like a bit of sensationalist reporting from the interviewer. again everyone needs to chill. eve and villanelle’s attraction to each other is fundamental to this show, and if it was pigeon-holed as Representation™ in the way that sandra was saying that it isn’t then it wouldn’t be as good!! edit: also don’t think that sandra was referring to fans when she said “you guys”, she was probably referring to reporters who question them on the romance a lot without acknowledging how nuanced their relationship is.
when is a trained assassin going to stop me a public restroom and tell me to wear my hair down before killing four people and then steal my suitcase and send it back to me with thousands of dollars worth of beautiful clothing all exactly my size and eventually break into my house and straddle me in my bathtub while trying to ask me out for dinner
my two moods
I could have worked more on this but yes
