TRIED TO COME UP WITH AN ON-THE-SPOT ANALOGY FOR BEING ASEXUAL AND THE FIRST THING MY BRAIN SHAT OUT WAS "IT'S LIKE A WAFFLE MAKER"
Ways that sex is like a waffle maker:
1. Lots of people have one but you don't really think about it until they start talking about making waffles and you're like "oh shit they have a waffle maker"
2. Messy as fuck and you know what as far as I see it why even bother when you have pancakes, you don't need to bother with all those fluids and crevices with pancakes
3. WHY DOES EVERYONE AT THE WEDDING THINK YOU NEED ONE
4. Theoretically implied fun with whipped cream until it melts and starts soaking into shit
5. If you don't prep ur surfaces ur gonna have a bad time
6. It's fun in the kitchen but only on like special occasions cause again it's a pain in the ass to clean
7. ??? I prefer crêpes tbh I don't get it
Looking forwards to celebrating the 6th birthday of the post I made to describe a stance I was assured I'd grow out of by 13
This is an illustration for the latest chapter, and I was planning to post the art after it came out, but… THEY TURNED OUT SO CUTE!
something something extremely sexy when magic users resort to physical violence. yeah i have the power of god and anime on my side but i also have THESE HANDS. i cast Punch You In The Face. i take my magic staff through which i channel the vast energies of the elements and the cosmos and i cast Severe Concussion And Skull Fracture. casting time for xenoglossy too long, chose the quicker route of Stab You In The Throat.
If Shen Qingqiu and Wenren È were to meet:
Bonus:
Guess who just finished reading Devil Venerable Also Wants to Know
Shen Yuan would absolutely be one of the haters of the original Abusive Romance: You Are the Unchanging One in My Heart, if the book had ended up in his universe in my heart it did
Maybe I'll draw a part 2 of SQQ and WRE bonding over their respective adventures and having partners who almost went crazy after they "died"
This is partially propaganda for all the SVSSS fans out there, READ DVAWTK 🫵🫵

Cale being aroace is one of my dearest head canons
Both of them
Like, part of why tcf is so dear to me is because of how it showcases that love is universal in all forms. It has no romance, and for me,that’s what makes the story perfect.
Its not like I don’t enjoy romance or even Cale being shipped with various people around him,god knows how many fics I've read of tcf that are just romance focused, but there’s a comfort in knowing that the story will never go in that direction.Because it doesn’t need to.
It doesn’t need romance in its life to be loved so vividly, both by me and other people. The idea of burning down the world for someone you love but will never be in love with, the thought of relationships that are clearly ’just friendships’ but showcasing that love so beautifully.Just as beautifully.
I am in love with tcf because of it.
Alberu or Choi han or any other person with Cale could get the same treatment of ships by people of the fandom. But those relationships themselves are built on what everyone reads. And in the end the reason why is because the bonds between all of them are so ridiculously precious, imagining them to be in love is not so far fetched.
And they do love each other.Dearly.Its a bond that’s ’just’ friendship but its so damn beautiful that you cant help but love every part of it.And the best part is,that its treated just as importantly as romantic love interests are in any other novels.
The cast of tcf. They found each other, broken and tattered, and reforged themselves into the family that most of them never had.
Platonic love.Thats what tcf is built on and i will forever treasure this story because of it.
Lee Hoyeol *gifting Grandfell an elegant hairclip*:
I brought it because it reminded me of you. No... I just thought it would look good in your hair-
Please ignore that, I just brought it impulsively, which isn't like me. You don't need to wear it, it's just a cheap thing.
Grandfell:
No.
Anything given to me by Hoyeol is to be treasured.
Lee Hoyeol:
...
You're calling me stingy and broke!?
When I was reading the Red Friday part I was chatting with a non-reading friend about it and she was like "he coppied Braun? So does he have his own Soleum from Teemu?"
And I guess yes

Hi quick question if you don't mind. Does the novel use gender-neutral pronouns for Agent Chogae? Or do they use he/him despite kse's initial confusion regarding Chogae's gender?
Gender neutral. We don't know their gender. At all.
Actually while I'm at it - here's some notes on GSGW characters and their genders.
First of all, there is basically no information value to be found from the he/she choices of MTL, because it's making it up from thin air.
If you see gendered pronouns in kr-eng MTL, 99% of the time it is the translator randomly assigning the gender. In the case of GSGW, it is 100%.
Practically every character gets referred to by narration in gender neutral way, even those who have their gender revealed by narration.
This is not difficult to do in Korean. It's even the natural way of writing things. Gendered pronouns were not even a thing in Korean until it was introduced from translating foreign books.
Anyway. GSGW characters and their genders in text.
For example, Eun Haje was introduced as a 'woman'. Despite this, for weeks (until her illustration was revealed) a lot of people confused her as a man because if you missed that initial intro, her gender is otherwise not hinted at. Korean doesn't have a strongly gendered speech pattern like for example Japanese does, and Eun Haje speaks in a casual, rough kind of way that led people to nickname her as Ahjeossi (old man), plus the name is gender neutral.
Another example is Jin Nasol, who flat out was not gendered at all from intro. However, due to the whole nail thing, and her speech pattern etc, people generally saw her as a woman. This was confirmed with the illustration.
Kang Yihak is another character many people assumed to be male until she got a proper intro in Death Alley arc revealing her as female.
Most of the one-arc minor characters are not gendered at all in text. This includes :
- The Red Mascot
- The kids from Looky Mart
- Ladybug and other employees from resort arc
etc etc.
Basically unless they are introduced as a woman or a man, they are generally not gendered in text.
spoiler for end of part 2 below cut.
