I love these. For those who don’t know what they’re looking at, @vintage3d takes a stereoscopic photo from the past like this:

and simply runs both frames together into an animated gif and all of a sudden you’ve got high quality video footage from the 1800s. It’s crazily simple but enormously effective, and the best ones make you feel like you’ve just stepped out of a time machine.
