I'm a collector of many many things...many many many things... including these super cool old jewelry boxes. I probably have ten or more, its a sickness I'm sure...lol
The seashell encrusted jewel box is the icing on the cake. It was a gift from my grandfather when I was 7 or 8. When he would visit he always brought the most curious gifts... Rocks, and Crystals, Seashells and Butterfly Nets. It seems natural wonders were his specialty. I remember wanting toys back then. Looking back I wouldn't change it for the WORLD.
