The Envoy of Aedyr | close up and reference under the cut
avowed update: HUGE win for my uncategorizable relationship with the fercönyng agenda‼️
Avowed - Kai
Avowed! 🍄🌳🌺
Playing Pillars of Eternity again now that Avowed has been released, so here's my nature Godlike - Enidwen! She's an runaway aristocrat and Chanter.
(My first playthrough journal page for her!, with some of her backstory)
Finally met and recruited Marius! Downside: I now have “A Little Fall of Rain” playing in my head 24/7.
ideologically i don’t agree with woedica but she went off with the gravelly texture smokes 50 a day Voice
“Envoy.”
Messy doodle of a fairy princess- Meet Ephraim, he would like to go back to the woods now and not have to deal with any of this.
I like to think little Inge was the total opposite of the person they became after making it to court. Running wild in the woods, impossible to keep indoors no matter how hard people in their household tried. Crossing the (ever-shrinking) boundaries of their family’s lands all the time, because the only borders they respected were natural ones. Digging holes to sleep in and coming home covered in soil. Filling every available space with mushrooms, bones, dirt, moss, and other things the older and somewhat more respectable Mecgards would prefer they not collect.
…then they grow up and learn to repress all of that HARD. They throw themself on the Emperor’s mercy after their family’s disgrace, become his personal favourite diplomat/assassin, and squish it down even further underneath a top layer of politesse and charm and courtly manners. By the time they arrive in the Living Lands, they’ve managed to successfully convince themself this is who they’ve always been (barring a bit of acceptable childhood silliness). That conviction isn’t going to last very long!
I love that a noble Envoy can tell Liviana their family hired Watchers and they were all grifting. The Watcher-sceptical dialogue options in this game are giving me life. (I also hope we can meet that one scammer in the city people keep warning us away from, because she sounds hilarious.)
…of course, it occurs to me that some of those fake Watchers might have been hired to peer into little Inge's soul. :( Just another entry on a long list of unfun childhood experiences.
