Has anyone else had issues with tumblr refusing to let you comment or draft or pretty much do anything, forcing you to spam attempt whatever is is you're doing until you get lucky, or just go the path of least resistance and give up instead?

#I know this webbed site has always been hilarious levels of non-functional but I swear it wasn't this bad even just a month ago #edit: case in point I had to mash the post button on this one too

I've been doing a lot of sprite work for Epitome's core mechanic recently, along with getting started on writing the code for all the specific situations where that mechanic is relevant. There are a lot of those, but at least one category is moooostly done.

Made minor progress on the Grabbles riv pebbs harassment reactions too, as in I finally figured out frequency stuff in a way that doesn't suck, but tbh I want to completely redo the dialogue pool. Code for dialogue when letting go, and stopping harassment without letting go, and letting go by just straight up yeeting the poor guy is also in place now in a way where these cases don't conflict, but the actual dialogue for all that is still placeholders.

I added positioned sounds testing to Sound Test mod.

Blog maintenance stuff! Yay!

I've been having some tag struggles recently so I'm introducing the Progress Report tag, for talking about ongoing projects or just various creative activities in general. This way I can keep the art/writing/code tags dedicated to actually finished stuff so it'll remain easy to find and doesn't get buried under mountains of me yapping.

In that same vein I get to reserve my personal tag for the actual irl quasi-vent stuff nobody cares about.

I don't think I'm going to split the new tag by craft, and whether or not a given post goes in the associated fandom tag is going to be decided on a case by case basis because I don't think that sort of thing would warrant bothering tag goers with for the most part.

#I changed the most recent posts' tags accordingly but I can't be bothered to look further back #this week has taken a toll and it's not even over #gonna disappear again I think
