Norma Bates x Lorraine Warren

I'm absolutely obsessed with the concept of this ship since 2022 (back in my Vera Farmiga era) and I'm happy I finally brought myself to draw them.

I love Lorraine x Ed and I also think Norma x Romero is cute but... These two are my babygirls and I think Lorraine would take such good care of Norma (who, honestly, needs someone like that 😭). Lorraine has so much love to give while Norma deserves just as much love, I'm delusional enough to believe they'd be a good couple.

An old piece I never posted bc I wasn’t a fan of how it turned out. I don’t mind it so much now.

It was part of a little chain of mw artists and writers I was a part of last year. I can’t remember who wrote the prompt of this unfortunately, but I know a bunch of good art was born from this little collab! So very happy I had the opportunity to be a part of it, even if I wasn’t satisfied with my final product.

That means so much, thank you brother! Nothing but 5 and a half hours of manual labor around these parts :)

When I do realism i like to challenge myself and treat it like an oil painting as much as I can, which means I put pretty much everything onto one or two layers unless I have different lightings going on. Here I made a few exceptions but I know I drew the whole deer on one layer for sure!

I’m so happy you like the piece, I’m really proud of it myself! I think Norma just needs to have a deer friend. They both share a habit of being hunted down by men for sport, which is what inspired this
