I’m a little annoyed; currently in Munich’s Marienplatz and they have pride flags up for: general pride, mlm, lesbian, bears, polyamorous, bisexual, pansexual, genderqueer, aromantic, intersex, transgender, nonbinary, leather pride, and ally.

But no asexual. The erasure fr never stops, even in more progressive/open cities and even during pride month.

This is so frustrating. Like, what does it say about society that they would display the aromantic flag but not asexual? This just gets more disappointing everyday.

My school had a presentation on the queer community, it being pride month and all and it wa really disappointing.

The only identities they mention were Lesbian, Gay, Trans, and Bi which obviously is important but it felt like if you weren't in teh acronym you were a footnote?

Also they didn't mention Aromatic at all and Asexual only once? Especially in today's world where everything is about finding someone to love and getting married and having two and a half kids ect. I think we should really be teaching people about the Aro and Ace spectrums. I'm aroace myself and I'm so grateful that I figured it out without having to go through years of feeling broken and I don't want to leave any of my classmates to that fate.

I had to explain Pan to people too? And no one even really talked about Gender identity and expression either? Intersex was mention once, but thats it.

So shout out to all the underrepresented and forgot identities! We all deserve so much better.

Gonna see Project Hail Mary for the second time today! I'm so excited! This movie is just sooo good. (Yes, I will be wearing my aroace bracelet)

Can't wait to Stratt being an icon and Rocky being the best alien ever again. I also need to figure out what Grace does with his glasses. It seems like they would fall?

I wish we got more of the crew in the movie. like I understand why we couldn't because of time but like, I couldn't get enough of Ilyukhina in the bookk. I want to see the crews shenanigans, theres no way everyone on that boat was serious all the time. Not with Dmitri and Hatch and Ilyukhina there. No, no way. There was probably a prank war and bets on astronaut training. Or when Grace would figure out he's aroace (cause you can pry that headczanon from my cold dead hands) The potential of Stratts Vat.

I wrote a fic about Aroace grace being oblivious to his Aroaceness and the very long, slow process about how he eventually finds that out (and again). Yes, everyone around him did assume that he knew this already. He did not.

Lowkey wanna write a pic about Grace finding out he's Aroace but like is the last person. I also wanna do different variations. Like one on Stratts Vatt when people literally have to tell him. Or maybe one of his students asking for help coming out as Aroace and he's like "but I'm not?". I also want to expand on the hc that he knits/crochets so that he gives students little squares with their pride flags during pride month. And another version I have is if Rocky does research on queerness on the ride back to erid and one morning he just shows up with a computer and is like "Grace this, question?".

Had an Idea for a song called Ace of Spades. Since Ace of Spades refers to people who are aroace. I just felt like it could be like and aroace and ace vent. It's probably been done before but I thought it could be a song that used a deck of cards as a metaphor. I haven't really thought through the whole things but I couple lines I liked as I came up with them were

"You never wanna play with the ace of spades, it's not my fault I don't fit in your masquerade"

"I know you think I'm the winner but you forget I'm the death card, your romantic dreams die with me"

"all you care about is hearts (unless it's an ace) so put us down I don't play your games"

"I know all you really want is your queen of hearts"

"Go on draw, while you're looking for your perfect match, I'll be over here winning rounds, cause unlike you I see four suits"

I like how this sounds in my head but I've never written a song. I really just play piano and sing to myself sometimes.

I think that if people knew Grace was Aroace before the Project Hail Mary launch it would be everyone but him. Like maybe he just gave off that vibe or one day a student gave him an aroace pin that he just liked because of the blue and yellow, and someone on Stratts Vat looked up what it was. So everyone would just know that Grace isn't interested in that stuff, but then Grace is going around like "Nah I'm straight, what's that?"

The difference between being chronically online and being chronically on Fanfiction is finding out the Spotify shuffle isn't actually random because people talked about it or from two fanfics that mentioned it in the same week

I'm still kinda stuck on the bit where they say to Ryland Grace's face that his life is insignificant because he doesn't have any of the close relationships traditionally valued by society and therefore he should be willing to die a potentially horrible death or commit suicide in space rather than getting to die at home with his people.

Seeing all the aroace Ryland Grace headcanons mames me so happy! I got that vibe from the book but I was still shocked that people agreed with me. Maybe I’m biased since I’m aroace but it just awesome to get a story like Project Hail Mary.
