This new Gorillaz album is bananas, pun fully intended. The Manifesto is my track of the album so far because we have A PROOF VERSE IN 2026?! r.i.p. proof. I'm usually not a fan of posthumous releases but 20 years after the hip hop world lost him on a Gorillaz album... It feels appropriate and respectful. This album signals itself as a bit of a conceptual and thematic sequel to Demon Dayz and that's largely part of the reason why it feels appropriate and respectful.
