She hears that one word, monster, and she instantly knows how she’s going to play this. A step back is taken, though her eyes stay locked on him; sizing him up, undoubtedly.

He’s no monster. He looks human, smells human, save for the lingering whiff of blood that isn’t his own. His words sound more like gloating to her, talking tough, and more than anything she wants to test the conviction with which he speaks them.

Pinpricks of black flash across her sclera before taking over, kakugan ebbing over eyes. She leans in confidentially, shutting one eye and pulling at the lower eyelid of the other.

“Monsters have to help each other out, don’t they?”

She blinks, and the kakugan are gone, replaced once more by those unassuming (if analytical) brown eyes.

                that was new. terrifyingly new. villainous new. garou took                 in a breath, his vision turning dark as he blinked with languid                 sensibility. whoever she was had become more important than                 any objective--- whatever she was becoming a priority.

                in his array of assumptions she was possibly a well placed                 hero meant to eliminate him. however most s-classes would                 be have to be highly elite to so much as handle him & seeing                 as he didn’t know her that was quickly crossed out.

                it was then replaced with selfishness. though teamwork wasn’t                 his strong suit, he could try a bit harder with a fellow sin of humanity.
