To say the least, Levi had absolutely no idea as to what say after hearing Noah's words. He was already nervous enough as it was but hearing the other say that he missed him too just made the flutter in his stomach worse. "H-how have you been? I... you were out quite long.." It takes him forever to spit the question out and awkward doesn't do it justice but he seriously doesn't know what to do. "Too long... " he mutters under his breath.

"I’ve, ah," He feels his voice cracking slightly, but he continues nonetheless. "…been fine. Busy, but nothing I can’t handle."

He is so very uncomfortable, his collar a bit too tight around his neck and his gloves a bit too hot for his sweaty hands, but this is the closest thing they’ve ever had to a civilized conversation and he finds himself actually enjoying it, as embarrassing and just plain bizarre as the whole situation was.

"What about you?" He relaxes slightly, his frown dropping in order to look at Levi with curious azure eyes. After all, it has been quite a while, and he had to admit he was interested. Not that he’d say that out loud.

"Y-you don’t need to thank me…" He muttered awkwardly, still rather at a loss as to what to say in such situation. Honestly, no one had ever told him they missed him— why would they? So, hearing the Corporal (out of all people) say such thing… “U-um…” Now what? “I, uh…missed you too, I suppose.” It was a miracle he managed not to stutter, considering how his fingers were shaking lightly with nervousness and his face burned in embarrassment. “I-I mean, it has been pretty quiet…um…”

The more childish Noah acts towards you, the more comfortable he is is around you. This varies on levels, of course, and it's due because he was taught strict manners from a young age, not allowed to act the way a normal child should. His attitude depends a lot on who you are, however, and it's really something he does subconsciously, so he never really notices or acknowledges this side of himself.
