A movie that was able to distract me during a difficult time❤️‍🩹

Everything in it is beautiful: music, story, the visuals you simply can’t look away from. And finally — dialogues that actually mean something, instead of disappearing after a few minutes. It’s amazing to realize that you can create true, profound cinema without a single unnecessary explicit scene.

Every frame feels like a work of art you want to savor with your eyes. And what impressed me most is that, for the first time in a long while, the costumes are historically accurate, and the 19th-century heroine finally has long hair — just as she should.

An incredible, sincere, living film - one that stays with you for a long time.
