@viva-la-fucking-pluto
i learned that each woman spends approximately $5,600 on her period over her lifetime (x)
this reminded me of the reason why i bought reusable menstrual pads in the first place
im so happy with my collection
where did you get them? theyre so cute I love!
@cerenae i got them here! i recommend 10/10!
Last period was the first time I didn’t use any non reusable products!
REUSABLE???? THERE’S REUSABLE ONES?????
I love reusable ones! Using them almost a year now!
WHAT!!!!
BROOOO
WHATTT
hop aboard the reusable menses product train y’all! boss up your coochie!! all joking aside though, i’ve saved money, no more cramping or inner thigh rashes from the dioxins and other weird chemicals and (pandemic related) fewer reasons to take impromptu trips out of the house. win-win all around.
i bought their trial pack (one of each pad size + pouch) just to see how these pads are like and just a day after using, i bought a starter pack (2 liner, 3 regular, 2 overnight + pouch)
i included a photo below beside my switch for comparison of how big the xl and overnight pads are (i love using both for for nighttime use). daily, i use my regular pads and when working out/post-period, i use the liners.
honestly these are such amazing investments. i cant see myself using commercial pads ever again. they dont stink nor leak and you just have to make sure youre not wearing lace or any flimsy underwear so they’ll stay in place. i totally recommend this!
OMG WHAT THERE ARE REUSABLE ONES????
PSA I JUST SAW THEY NOW HAVE ANIMAL CROSSING PATTERNS IM SCREAMING RIGHT NOW
the amazing part is that it’s 5 LAYERS AND COMES WITH TWO BUTTONS TO SNAP TOGETHER!!
I AM SO IN LOVE!! HERE’S THE LINK IF YOU GUYS ARE INTERESTED!!!!
PS! You bleed on the black bamboo fiber part and not on the villagers 😂
Love these. Game changing. Don’t knock it til you try it.

they call me… 7 Knives. because that’s how many knives it takes me to cook things because I keep puttin em in the fuckin sink without thinking about it
Watch: President Obama calls Orlando gay club shooting an act of “terror and hate” in speech.
my question is did disney come up with the movie and then the name or did someone just think of the pun “aristocats” and then design an entire movie after it
“What I didn’t realize, back when I was this twenty-five-year-old pinup for geeks in that me myself and iconic metal bikini, was that I had signed an invisible contract to stay looking the exact same way for the next thirty to forty years. Well, clearly I’ve broken that contract. Partly because, in an effort to keep up my disguise as a human being, I had a child at some point. And then, in an effort to stay sane for said child, I took pounds and pounds of medications that have the dual effect of causing water retention (think ocean, not lake) while also creating a craving for salad—chocolate salad. So yes, in answer to your unexpressed question, sanity does turn out to come at a heavy price.” — Carrie Fisher
I got yelled at and it’s literally taken me several days to recover emotionally it really wiped me out
me: (sees a sharp object) intrusive thoughts: stab? me: no intrusive thoughts: STAB? me: BE QUIET
Maybe some Magnus/Simon friendship headcanons?
Yesss that’s the kind of stuff I like
•they talk about superheroes, a lot. They even went to watch Deadpool together. (Although Simon is a bit mad because Magnus kept talking about Deadpool’s ass the entire movie.)
•Simon is team Captain America, and Magnus is team Iron Man. They haven’t talked for 2 weeks after they discovered that.
•they like to talk a lot about the Lightwood siblings. One time when they all were in the institute, they watched Alec and Izzy train. That quickly turned to a little competition about who is dating the hotter Lightwood. They agreed on a draw.
•Magnus cares about Simon a lot. Simon has that habit of falling asleep with his glasses on (he still likes to be with them all the time), so Magnus takes them off his nose and puts them in a safe place- he’s tired from fixing them all the time.
•they talk a lot about Raphael. Simon likes to hear the funny stories especially. Some of the cute ones as well. He’s always listening with a big smile on his face.
•Magnus still calls him Sheldon sometimes- just to see him grin.
•Magnus is the one who gives Simon his first professional Bow and Arrow. He likes to watch Alec train Simon.
•and basically just Simon and Magnus being cute cinnamon rolls and good friends together.
“If You think Reading is boring,You’re doing it Wrong.”
boys:
if a girl is making you uncomfortable, YOU ARE ALLOWED TO SAY IT.
fucking crush the stereotype that men are always supposed to “want it”
It’s really such a sad idea. I remember once with my ex, I was kissing him when we were in bed, and it started getting more heated, but I could tell it felt different. I stopped and asked if he wanted to carry on, and he said yes, but I knew him well. I had to ask again before he admitted he wasn’t really feeling it at the time. It just made me feel so bad and so upset for him. I think there’s more pressure on men to be sexual. Men love sex, they’d never want to turn it down, if they do it’s unmanly, it’s gay, it’s girly. It’s something ingrained into them from such a young age. It’s terrible and wrong. They think they have no right to not want sex.
Not all men have sky-high sex drives. I doubt any man in the world wants sex 100% of the time. It’s fine to reject it in any situation, whether a planned one night stand or a committed relationship. It’s fine to change your mind before or halfway through.
Men, it is FINE for you to not want sex, and it is FINE to say no if you want to. In fact, please do. It’s not guaranteed the other person will be able to sense your discomfort.
All of this. It’s always okay to say no, or wait, or maybe not right now or whatever it is you’re feeling.
Infos from the WonderCon Panel
On the show:
They showed a clup: Magnus shows up at the wedding, runs into Maryse and is mean to her. He tells her he’ll only leave if Alec tells him to. (x and x)
Isabelle was the one to invite Magnus (x) Emeraude said Izzy has a few tricks up her sleeve and this could be one of them.
“The love that Alec and Jace feel for each other is so complete and so unending.” - Dominic Sherwood
Lydia could’ve been made into an evil character, but the creators made the active choice to not go there and make her a good person.
We’ll get Magnus backstory in episode 12 (x)
“Alec is building up walls…but makes the right decision in the end.” - Matthew Daddario (x)
Sebastian might appear in a third season (x)
The producers want to work elements of the Bane Chronicles and Lady Midnight into the upcoming season (x)
Cast things:
McG brought a fan on stage, the fan got kissed by Dom Sherwood and got to stay on the panel (x) Sarah Hyland was the first to cheer (x)
Matt’s nickname is the godfather and he had the hardest time with social media (x)
Alberto is basically an encyclopedia (x)
If they could play other characters, Matt would want to play Izzy, just because of her clothing, Harry would want to be a Silent Brother, Alberto and Ed want to be Magnus, Dominic says Meliorn, Kat wants to be Sebastian and Isaiah Valentine. Emeraude would always want to be someone different (x)
Alberto his most like his character and Matt is least like his character (x) (Matt joked that that must mean he’s the best actor)
Harry’s favorite thing about Alec is his bow and his quiver (x)
Matt and Harry both kissed a fan on the cheek (x)
Emeraude would mesh Shadowhunters with a telenovela, other cast members would pick Agents of Shield or Game of Thrones (x and x)
ya book: mentions a lost princess on page 30
me: wow i really fucking wonder if the mysterious orphaned protagonist is gonna be the lost princess
Recess time in the MCU.
What if, when Petunia Dursley found a little boy on her front doorstep, she took him in? Not into the cupboard under the stairs, not into a twisted childhood of tarnished worth and neglect–what if she took him in?
Petunia was jealous, selfish and vicious. We will not pretend she wasn’t. She looked at that boy on her doorstep and thought about her Dudders, barely a month older than this boy. She looked at his eyes and her stomach turned over and over. (Severus Snape saved Harry’s life for his eyes. Let’s have Petunia save it despite them).
Let’s tell a story where Petunia Dursley found a baby boy on her doorstep and hated his eyes–she hated them. She took him in and fed him and changed him and got him his shots, and she hated his eyes up until the day she looked at the boy and saw her nephew, not her sister’s shadow. When Harry was two and Vernon Dursley bought Dudley a toy car and Harry a fast food meal with a toy with parts he could choke on Petunia packed her things and got a divorce.
Harry grew up small and skinny, with knobbly knees and the unruly hair he got from his father. He got cornered behind the dumpsters and in the restrooms, got blood on the jumpers Petunia had found, half-price, at the hand-me-down store. He was still chosen last for sports. But Dudley got blood on his sweaters, too, the ones Petunia had found at the hand-me-down store, half price, because that was all a single mother working two secretary jobs could afford for her two boys, even with Vernon’s grudging child support.
They beat Harry for being small and they laughed at Dudley for being big, and slow, and dumb. Students jeered at him and teachers called Dudley out in class, smirked over his backwards letters.
Harry helped him with his homework, snapped out razored wit in classrooms when bullies decided to make Dudley the butt of anything; Harry cornered Dudley in their tiny cramped kitchen and called him smart, and clever, and ‘better ‘n all those jerks anyway’ on the days Dudley believed it least.
Dudley walked Harry to school and back, to his advanced classes and past the dumpsters, and grinned, big and slow and not dumb at all, at anyone who tried to mess with them.
But was that how Petunia got the news? Her husband complained about owls and staring cats all day long and in the morning Petunia found a little tyke on her doorsep. This was how the wizarding world chose to give the awful news to Lily Potter’s big sister: a letter, tucked in beside a baby boy with her sister’s eyes.
There were no Potters left. Petunia was the one who had to arrange the funeral. She had them both buried in Godric’s Hollow. Lily had chosen her world and Petunia wouldn’t steal her from it, not even in death. The wizarding world had gotten her sister killed; they could stand in that cold little wizard town and mourn by the old stone.
(Petunia would curl up with a big mug of hot tea and a little bit of vodka, when her boys were safely asleep, and toast her sister’s vanished ghost. Her nephew called her ‘Tune’ not 'Tuney,’ and it only broke her heart some days.
Before Harry was even three, she would look at his green eyes tracking a flight of geese or blinking mischieviously back at her and she would not think 'you have your mother’s eyes.’
A wise old man had left a little boy on her doorstep with her sister’s eyes. Petunia raised a young man who had eyes of his very own).
Petunia snapped and burnt the eggs at breakfast. She worked too hard and knew all the neighbors’ worst secrets. Her bedtime stories didn’t quite teach the morals growing boys ought to learn: be suspicious, be wary; someone is probably out to get you. You owe no one your kindness. Knowledge is power and let no one know you have it. If you get can get away with it, then the rule is probably meant for breaking.
Harry grew up loved. Petunia still ran when the letters came. This was her nephew, and this world, this letter, these eyes, had killed her sister. When Hagrid came and knocked down the door of some poor roadside motel, Petunia stood in front of both her boys, shaking. When Hagrid offered Harry a squashed birthday cake with big, kind, clumsy hands, he reminded Harry more than anything of his cousin.
His aunt was still shaking but Harry, eleven years and eight minutes old, decided that any world that had people like his big cousin in it couldn’t be all bad. “I want to go,” Harry told his aunt and he promised to come home.
