Saggy Halter w/ Tag!

I am exceptionally proud to announce that this halter is now available for download. This halter is manipulated and modified from the mesh of Lakeside Ranch’s halter, so please don’t give me all the credit. Most of it goes to her; without her skill this halter wouldn’t have been possible!

There is still a small amount of work to be done to the UV map so the crown-piece’s texture isn’t stretched out so badly, but I’ll update it and re-release it when the tag-less version of the halter is released, hopefully within the next week.

There is a very small clipping error over the side of the nose when yawning, but otherwise it works very well.

The more extreme the head shape, the more likely you are to have bits of the halter clip into the head a little bit, but that pretty much goes for any piece of headgear out there.

Please let me know if there are any issues! This is my first bit of CC as well as my first try at jointing from scratch, so it’s obviously not perfect. I’ll do my best to fix any weird bits that come up!

Avalon and Lelo galloped across our fresh pastures together like a pair of excited yearlings. The young mare is just started in jumping keen to follow in her gransire’s footsteps as the Local Champion. Both Horses are over 17hh, but they move with such grace that I’d never have them any other way.

Khalasar d’Auroy (bay) (Horus du Tussock x Castamere de Long Champs) and Kraft d’Auroy (chestnut) (Horus du Tussock x Cersei des Aurades).

Two of our boys! Khal is being is usual self, trying to be sneaky and bite his buddy. Poor Kraft! He won’t have to bear with the bullying for much longer as they are moving to their respective new owners. Good luck with them guys! <3

Perrine’s first show

Perrine was dying to use the jacket uncle Thomas left her (why did he buy a 10 yo size jacket for a little kid? who knows..), and she thus insisted to enter a dressage show with her favorite shetland pony, Chipie. Of course the pair did as good as a 5 year old can do (meaning not great), but in the eyes of mommy Offaly (standing on the right) and daddy Pierre (taking a photo), the test was pure perfection. Perrine didn’t place, but she was so happy that the actual results didn’t matter.

A LOT of work in this piece! Everything on the horse and rider was drawn from scratch. The jacket was my first piece of clothing (drawn without a reference) - must say I’m pretty proud of it. Oh and for those wondering what in the world is that saddle, this is a special saddle used on shetland ponies (in France at least). It’s got a front and back piece which helps prevent the young children from sliding. The stirrups - usually not used - are attached just underneath the front piece.

I attached the original shot for everybody to see the transformation :)
