about hunk:

okay hunk made me so so happy in season seven because:

• we learned about his family

• we saw him using some incredible leadership skills

• we saw him in such a deeper light when he and keith talked

• he finally has emotions and motives like a well rounded character

• shay came back!!! and hunay is literally one of my all time favorite ships!!!!!!

just overall, hunk this season was so well developed and even though i'm dissapointed about a lot of other things, this was definitely not one of them :)

i’m! so! happy! lance! found! his! family! i really loved the dynamic between lance and veronica. you could see how much they really cared for each other and lance finally has someone who supports him and loves him unconditionally, while still being able to tease each other. i just loved it so much sshdjshshshjs

even if that thing ended, adam was still there and concrete and the closest thing that he had to family. he loved him.

s6 unpopular opinion:

i didn't hate allura and lance's relationship and heres why

• lance only ever had one person to comfort him and that was keith - keith is not there for him rn because of his own struggles (WHICH ARE VALID)

• it may seem like lance is a "rebound" but i don't think so - allura has not tried to make any moves on lance or shown in any way that she was interested in him romantically

• allura was so obviously into lotor and does not act that way with lance

• in the last episode, he cries and is literally devastated. when he does this, allura is there for him and comforts him WHICH NONE OF THE REST OF THE TEAM DOES

• she hugs him. regardless of shipping or anything, lance needs that. he needs that support and validation. allura is giving it to him.

• i ship klance, but hear me out here. if allurance becomes canon (which i don't think it will because we still have like 4 more seasons but ok) then lance is happy. we've seen him grow in his relationship with her, it's not some silly "oh you're hot wanna date me". it's canonically a "wow she is beautiful and pushes me to be better and motivates me"

• i still don't think it will be canon, because the writers probably wont make anything actually canon until the last season and by then he will have developed and changed

• this is season six people. stop losing your shit like none of this is going to change. it's a long show that has been planned for years. patience yields focus.

me thinking about how keith grew up with no mother and only his father until his father died when keith was still very young likely under 10 years old and keith probably got sent to orphanages and foster homes before shiro found him  and took him in and raised him and enlisted him in the garrison because he knew keith had potential and became keiths family only for keith to lose the last thing he could call family when shiro was reported dead on kerberos, then find him again, then lose him again, then find him again, then listen to him call keith worthless, broken, and that he shouldve abandoned him like everyone else had then try to kill him yet keith still didnt give up on him because shiro never gave up on him and was ready to die with his brother only to find out that shiro himself actually had died and his spirit had been trapped in the black lion and was watching over keith that way and helped keith connect with the black lion because he promised he’d never give up on him:

honestly I’m still processing everything, but here’s a list of my thoughts and reactions

• clone shiro was horrible at his worst, but honestly great at his best

• we don’t know if real shiro has any of kuron’s memories from the past months

• shiro is canonically technically keith’s brother and im ready to F I T E im so happy

• shiro has known keith for a very long time

• the white hair is interesting, i honestly don’t like it right now but im sure it will just take time to get used to

• it was not shiro doing any of those horrible things to the paladins and keith. that was haggar. do not forget that.

• shiro is a huge motherfucking dork

• because of the dnd episode, im led to believe that josh’s headcanon about shiro being similar to lance is pretty much canon at this point

• shiro is literally and anime god

• shiro has been through hell and, despite the confusion surrounding him right now, he deserves love and support

in conclusion, shiro’s plot line is megafucked but it’s okay because he’s back now and we love him
