Michael was a bit surprised by her sudden change of tone, but welcomed it nonetheless. If he was being honest with himself, she had made him a bit nervous with her words earlier, but now he felt more at ease when she smiled at him. Deciding to change the topic, he suddenly moved to glance out towards the window of the shop they were standing at. “When it’s time for me to join the army, do you think I could be part of the special forces under your command? Or do I need to work my way up?”
hei was rather curious about someone like him, first of all because she hated being what she was, she hated her father for forcing her but not her brother and, besides that, she’s never met a kid (because that’s what he was and will remain to her) being so excited about joining the army. “The special forces?” the woman straightened herself up, tongue trailing quickly along her lips. “Just apply a file. But, you should know, it’s hell.” maybe she shouldn’t have said that with a smile on her lips.
