"My beloved Aneleth..." She smiled and approached to her dear friend, taking her in a tight embrace. "How I missed you... The only one who can keep my nightmares at bay..."
First a slight shock went through her body as she hear a familiar voice. Soft, a whisper alsmost. She hardly dared turn, too afraid it may be a dream, untill she felt her warm embrace and the familiar sweet smell of her dear friend. She tried to say her name, but tears choked her throath. So she eased into her arms, without a word, merely a sigh escaping her lips.
She followed, quietly. Still enthralled by the thought of her friend returning. The last time they had seen each other, they had grown so close it hurt. It was as if part of her heart was in the hands of her friend, she could squeeze it and make her feel the pain. But she trusted Laëth. She knew she would never willfully hurt her. Still, being apart was enough to leave a hole in her bosom. Something no one else could ever fill.
"Your house" she sighed as she walked right behind her, catching whiffs of her smell and watching her elegant moves.
"Yes, my house. I need a roof to live under, don't I? Yet sometimes it gets a bit lonely, all by myself." She smiled sadly and took her friend's hand in hers, pulling her to walk by her side. "What's wrong, mellon nîn? I can see your mind is troubled from here. Please, voice concern. Let me help ease your pain."
She glanced at her, a hint of sadness in her eyes. She had tried to fulfil her promise: find a fine elf to fall in love and share her life with, create a family. But she couldn't her heart was tied to her friend, to her freckles and curly hair. "You are quieter than usual..."
