hey nullscapers! small reminder that despite the wiki being hosted on miraheze (people consider it a trustworthy wiki host because it doesn't allows strangers to vandalize pages) that still doesn't mean they're fully trustworthy! it's been brought to my attention that voidbreaker's page currently includes a fan theory in the trivia section and unconfirmed info within the history section.

the fact that people are just allowed to include fan theories within the trivia section is crazy to me.. and the fact that whoever edited the trivia section SPECIFICALLY targeted the voidbreaker being nonbinary point and replaced it with an "erm actually they're multiple people that can be any gender 🤓☝️" despite NONE of the devs stating anything of the sort as far as i'm concerned reeks of transphobia to me, even if the nonbinary point wasn't confirmed anyways. it seriously irks me in all the wrong ways.

i do not know how and even to who i could bring this up so i just hope someone either finds a way to inform the people behind the wiki about this or they magically find this post themselves T_T and btw this isn't a hate post, i just want people to be aware of this because nullscape players love to rely on the miraheze wiki at least in-game

my personal headcanon is that becoming voidbound is like accepting hopelessness. if you are a project moon fan i say it's just like distorting except you can't recover from it.

we don't really have any lore implications for baby and operator, but guardian and voidbound guardian do have lore snippets. previously, their descriptors said "a protector of nature, it sees you as an infiltrator..." and "a failed protector, it has nothing left to lose." respectively. considering they also both enrage upon the activation of the altar of passage (with guardian sounding angry and vbg basically crying) it's safe to assume guardian became voidbound after failing to protect its "garden" (considering the track "former gardens" is confirmed to be guardian's track).

now, voidbreaker is a very curious case because they're already voidbound and we do not know of their previous form, and while we don't have any lore snippets for them either, i have a theory (that's actually very popular) that voidbreaker used to be a robloxian previously, someone that has also been going through the endless cycle just like we have. except at some point in their journey they gave up on trying to get to a possible end and became voidbound. it would explain why in patch 4 they used the same body type as the player and in patch 5 why they're the most humanoid enemy (by far) in the game.

there's also theories that voidbreaker is just voudbound sam, and am i the only one that despises this theory? i understand their similarities with the haircut and having a sword and even the "yin yang" composition in the volume 3 key art, but i still don't like it. i personally see sam and voidbreaker as polar opposites, maybe like two sides of the same coin. voidbreaker has given up, while sam keeps fighting on until they reach the end. nihilism and existentialism. two completely different mindsets that could never go hand in hand. i also really want voidbreaker and sam to have lore of their own rather than being different versions of each other, cause that's just plain boring imo.

also am i the only one that noticed how the current entities that we have right now that are voidbound are humanoid to some degree? baby is a skull that wears the skin of a baby, guardian is a human skull, operator is basically an objecthead and voidbreaker has human anatomy, ableit exaggerated for irl human standards. maybe because humans and honestly any other living creature are very prone to falling into hopelessness after their repeated efforts come in vain 👀
