me, procrastinating: i hope somebody kills me before this is due
âTrick or Yeet!â I shout to the children when I open the door. âYeet?â one says confusidly. I shrug. âYeet it is.â I throw the child.
Not Halloween but, okay.Â
okay you stick of unsalted butter i made this on halloween but everyone just likes to reblog it for some reason
i think youâre suffering from a lack of vitamin me

best thing i learned today:Â âThe Loud Americanâ role in Japanese businesses
nobody asked but imma explain anyway
no idea how it came up, but my programming prof was talking about his friend who works for Nintendo Japan whoâs secondary role is The Loud American, and my prof explained what that was and how it came about
see, in Japan you do not talk back to your boss. you just donât, even if they have stupid ideas and want the company to act on them. Like Nissan did sometime back. But since the other employees couldnât do anything about this terrible idea that would ruin the company, they called in an American who had no reservations about telling the boss that their stupid idea was a stupid idea
and thatâs just become a role in Japanese businesses, where they keep an American on staff who plays up the American stereotype and tells the boss what the Japanese employees canât or wonât out of societal norms
dream job.
How much do they pay per hour for me to sit around and every so often storm into the bosses office and call his ideas stupid as fuck?

What all ask boxes look like for me (submission boxes look exactly the same):
Left: what happens when I try to open dms (New Message does nothing); I canât even read them. Right: when I try to go to someoneâs dms from their blog.
Neither new things I post nor old things I post show up in the tags theyâre in, even if they were before.
I can type things into replies, but it wonât actually post them.
Since it doesnât seem this one has been encountered by many people yet, maybe reblog this so people know about it. Iâm probably getting deleted though
Tumblr is shadowbanning people and they arenât even trying to be subtle about it.
Please spread the word.
Iâm glad this is spreading but simultaneously it makes it sound like the shadowban is much less severe than it is because I didnât realize, and this shadowban is so severe I canât even add on / tell anyone that.
All my likes, reblogs, and replies are hidden from the notes of EVERY post.
When I like or rb things it doesnât show notes in someoneâs activity / dash, except long-time followers (not sure about the exact cutoff/conditions).
If I reblogged and added something to this from a non-follower they wouldnât even know. Check and see: my rbâs donât even show up in the notes. So people couldnât even find out I added something on by checking the notes either:
Not to mention: Iâm hidden from all searches, canât be @âd, past @âs of me are hidden from my notes, I donât get notified when people reply to a post I replied to, my @âs donât give notes, and every search on my blog is blanked. I canât even ask/submit to myself even with anons, and lots more.
Oh, yeah, and: MY BLOG ISNâT EVEN MARKED NSFW. Every flagged post Iâve found was restored. But every flagged post you contest brings attention to you that risks you just getting shadowbanned randomly.
THIS is the version that should get spread aroundâŠ

I know the jpop fanbase is small on here but the silence on the assault on a Japanese idol by 2 men is so worrying. Hating idol culture doesnât mean you should ignore serious issues like this. If we donât get this more attention Japanese media will literally ignore it because the groupâs management is already making this girl apologize for HERSELF being assaulted in front of the men who assaulted HER. Itâs disgusting and it shouldnât go unnoticed.
Maho Yamaguchi, 23, revealed this week that she had been 'attacked by two men' at her flat in Niigata, central Japan, accusing fellow member
this meme is funny and all but i think we all need to pay attention to the fact that its not some kinda vague classical art or whatever but is instead a modern piece stolen and uncredited with the artistâs watermark removed. heres the originalÂ
the artist is WLOP! heâs a chinese digital artist who does original and fanart, and has his own comic called GhostBlade. unfortunately, his art is very popular and gets stolen frequently by etsy shops and other people trying to make money off of other peopleâs work, so it doesnât surprise me to see that someone stole this piece without crediting him.
hereâs his DAÂ if you want to see more :)
His art is gorgeous! Just scrolling through and theyâre fantastic work ~
not to be nsfw but the thought of someone smiling against my lips as we kiss? really makes a bitchâs heart flutter

Watch it in video
No.Â
No this is not funny.
Whether or not it is a joke, Iâve gone onto the channel and there are multiple videos similar to this, which makes me think theyâre fake.
Doesnât matter.Â
These videos enforce the idea to parents that yes, the answer to stop your child becoming obsessed with games is to DESTROY them.
No. This is not funny. It is things like this that cause events such as the father who SHOT his daughterâs laptop to bits to occur. These jokes enforce the attitude that people are âwrongâ for loving games.
For wanting to play games.Â
For some people (including myself), games are a serious escape from horrid realities. The only escape some people can get. The idea that this man (boy?) is wrong for being so upset is disgusting to me?
This is horrific. This is abuse. This is wrong.
This is a sure fire way to get your kids to hate you.
do people not understand how much video games cost?
Video games are a multi-billion dollar business. Some people are good at it. Very good. Do not squander your childâs talents, help them realize them and strengthen them. There are other ways to get your child outside without destroying their games and everything they work for. This wonât solve anything; this will only set them back further.
do this to your childs anything and they will automatically hate you/not trust you
It doesnât matter what it is
It doesnât matter if its their video games or if its their smoking pipe
If you just destroy it/throw it away, you are giving no explanation as to why itâs bad/you donât want them to have it
This can actually psychologically mess a kid up because you teach them that if someone doesnât like something, they should destroy it
That can lead to some serious problems with socializing with others and other things
dont do that to people
dont
I had a notebook I used to write in all the time. I did that thing that Margo did in Paper Towns where she criss crossed her writing, but I did it so Iâd have enough room to write everything. I took it everywhere wtih me and wouldnât let my parents even start the car unless I had in in my lap. My dad got really annoyed by this and said I needed to throw the notebook away, what was written in it wasnât important anyway (it was to me, very much so). So one day he took and ran it through the paper shredder. Ever since Iâve had an intense fear of losing my notebooks and currently have a colletion of 53 blank notebooks and 16 that have been written in because Iâve started hoarding them. Long story short, donât fucking do this to your kids. You think itâs harmless and some people even think itâs clever, but youâre really just an asshole and are causing actual psychological problems for your children.
I have a plush rabbit that Iâve had since Easter of the year I was born (I was about 2 months old when I got it). It quickly became a comfort thing for me and I used to go everywhere with it as a child. When my mum and dad split up was when I became kind of dependent on having it around. If ever I did anything wrong mum always threatened to take it away from me, which obviously caused my 6-year-old self to kick and scream and cry because I needed it. One day I lost it for 6 or 7 months (turns out it was in my room the whole time but shh it was very well hidden & neither myself or my mum know how it got there) That was the point that my mum realised she couldnât threaten to take it away because holy shit I changed so much in those months. Seriously, if your child is dependent on something, or takes great comfort in having it around DO NOT TAKE IT FROM THEM. It does not matter how old your child is, what their comfort item is, if itâs a video games console - donât take it from them. If itâs their phone - donât take it from them. If theyâre 18 and still sleep with a teddybear - donât take it from them.
This also goes for if your child is self-harming. If they have a blade in their bedroom and you find it DO NOT THROW IT OUT. Talk to them about it, be as supportive as you can, but do not think âoh well if I get rid of it theyâll be fineâ. It can be seriously distressing and also lead to them becoming creative with what they use.
I was given my very first computer when I was about 13 on Christmas. I was so excited, because Iâd always wanted to have a computer to myself to play PC games and write and use the internet. Eventually, however, after a year of having the computer, my dad started threatening to take it away/smash it/cut off my internet access because according to him, I was âaddictedâ. To this day, he STILL DOES THIS. I no longer have that desktop computer anymore, as I invested in a laptop with my own money. Does that stop him from basically claiming the laptop as his property to do what he wants with and threatening to smash it on me so that I would âsocializeâ more? Nope.
No wonder I have a lot of anxiety problems, folks.
Please do not do this to your children. You can and will create serious problems.Â
