Susie and her weird connections to royalty.

Ok so, after playing chapter 2 and being hyperfixated on Susie for monthes, I have always been curious of the crowns in Susie’s room, and have always been on the lookout for royalty connections and so far I actually have a decent amount somehow.

1: First of all, we of course have the crowns in Susie’s room, which are quite interesting considering Ralsei decorated these rooms and how he decorates them, as he decorates them based on what he knows about the person…

2: Purple is a very prominent aspect of her character, purple is her favorite color, she’s called purple by Darkners even though she’s pink lol, her rooms purple, and even one of her character info traits after chapter 1 is “Purple: Yes”. And an important thing about the color purple is that it’s a color commonly associated with royalty. (Also it’s a color associated with mystery lol)

3: Calls herself King in more than one occasion, in the Tasque fight where she calls herself “King of the Jungle” and the commonly known “King of the Trashpile”.

4: Connections to both King and Lancer, who are both Royalty.

5: Going back to Susie’s room, so far all characters in Royal status have had horns on their thrones, and occasionally crowns, Susie doesn’t have a throne, but her bed fits this design perfectly.

Now getting onto some things that are more of a stretch lol

6: Susie calls herself Susiezilla in the Ferris Wheel scene with Noelle, which of course is in reference to Godzilla, and one of Godzilla’s alias is “King of Monsters”.

7: And now even bigger of a stretch (which you can ignore) but, Susie is the only character to get a weapon that’s very different from her “Main” weapon, which is a Devilsknife, a more scythe like weapon in comparison to her axe, and Cronus, *King of Titans*, also wields a scythe. This is also quite interesting as Jevil is the only other character to ever make a slight reference to the Roaring (aka Titans)

One of the most life-changing things I ever learned came from Mythbusters, where they tested and proved (with cognitive testing puzzles and reaction time tests) that lying down and resting with the intention to sleep STILL provided significant mental benefits over just staying awake, even if a person couldn’t fall asleep in the amount of time they had.

It helps me to actually sleep to know that just lying down with my eyes closed is still doing me some good, and helps me to not freak out/beat myself up when I stay up later than intended. Any amount of rest is better than no rest!

So if you didn’t know that…now you do

you ever realize how able bodied people just are not expected to do things that cause them excruciating physical pain? like they’re just. not

if i shouldn’t use my cane because i can sometimes technically walk without it, it would just hurt like a motherfucker then abled people should no longer be allowed to use potholders to take things out of the oven because i mean

well they could technically pick up a hot pan with their bare hands. it would just hurt like a motherfucker

if you use potholders how will you ever build up the calluses necessary to pick up scalding hot metal without burning yourself so severely? it’s like you’re not even trying to get better

I mean, my mother uses potholders, but she’s in her 70s. You’re just… too YOUNG to be resorting to potholders at your age.

As a professional cook I was, and still am, able to pick most stuff up out of an oven without a pot holder. I might get blisters and maybe it will hurt, but usually it won’t

AMAZING! based on this one specific individual’s experiences i will now safely assume that it’s possible for anyone to overcome hand pain & leave potholders behind for good!!! as long as you want it bad enough, anything is possible!! make this story go viral so that all those self pitying losers who still use potholders know that there’s no excuse

This made me cry. I can’t even imagine what it must be like to be potholder-bound like that, and it must have taken such incredible strength to overcome it. If someone like that can hold hot metal, the rest of us have no excuse to give up on anything.

that’s the point. nobody expects you to take a baking sheet out of the oven with your bare hands. because that would hurt you, and because the tool to accomplish that goal without hurting you is right there.

people do expect people who benefit from mobility aids to refrain when possible from using them. people do prescribe pain meds to chronic pain patients in insufficient quantity to do away with the pain. people do expect people who need time and space without noisy people in order to avoid sensory overload to stay in the populated parts of the party venue.

even though doing without those disability accommodations hurts us. even though the ability to accomplish our goals without hurting us is right there.
