oh god anaroceit is really in my brain now. help me. please. i have headcanons now.

-Two of them getting into an argument and then making whoever was left out settle it while both sides subtly threaten them is a weekly occurrence. Virgil’s response is usually “I don’t care, you’re both stupid, shut up”, Janus chooses whichever side will cause more drama, and Roman gives his actual opinion.

-Thomas, Logan, Remus, and Patton were all certain it was going to end up bad. Patton eventually came around. Thomas maintained a level of caution but is supportive. Logan thinks they broke up within a week and have been pretending to still be together so they don’t have to admit the others were right. Remus mostly just stopped caring when the chance of a huge fight went down (though he has Feelings about his close friend and former close friend dating his brother).

-Janus and Virgil still act like they don’t like each other in front of the others (besides Roman) most of the time because they’re bad at vulnerability and neither will take the step to Not Act Like That in public

-They show a good portion of their affection through “mean” nicknames and petty arguments

They had been arguing for some time and Romans hair stuck up on all ends from how many times he had run his hands through it in frustration. “He's not carefully calculating the most efficient option, he is thinking about Eurydice! Its an instinct, more than any sort of thought. He cares about her so deeply, he can't stand the prospect of her feeling alone! He cant stand the prospect of not knowing if shes okay!”

“It would be mere hours of negativity for possible years of reconciliation, how is that at all an equivalent exchange?”

“It not!—UGH!” Roman threw up his hands, fuming, unable to articulate any sound argument against him, which Logan decided to take as a victory. He tried to suppress the small smile that threatened to show on his face.

“You don't understand devotion.” Roman bemoaned. “If you had ever fallen in love with someone, you'd understand.”

“If I ever loved someone.” Logan said, placing his emphasis carefully, “I wouldn't fail to get them back.”

Theyre the royals of the mind. They conjured themselves and everyone else into existence and no one remembers but everyone sort of knows. They aren't leaders, they don't have authority over everyone else, but it is at the back of everyone's mind. Roman and remus are appropriate names, then. They are the founders. If even just by accident.

Maybe there are times when the others feel resentful that they were forced into existence by an irreversible but fleeting burst of imagination?
