so i'm the guy that wrote this little fanfic about c@1ne from the big indie show eating everyone in the circus and losing his marbles, and i am having kind of a personal conundrum.

the 30k-word first draft of the rest of it is Fully Complete, just needs to marinate and get an editing pass that helps me smooth out the foreshadowing and themes, but...

the series finale is coming up FAST and I'm feeling stressed that something it will reveal will make me want to REWRITE A BUNCH OF SHIT, and i will be REALLY screwed if it reveals something about the way the world or c@1ne works that contradicts what i have (please, goos, do not say he was never sentient or was a human brainscan or something)

so part of me wants to cope by gunning to POST IT FASTER but my usual method is to take my time and post weekly chapters. i kinda want to try checking around for beta readers, and also, i'd be sad if maybe something revealed in the finale will make me wish i HAD had the chance to go back and add it in because it's awesome. It's already a canon divergent au, but like, i REALLY like sticking as close to established lore and tone as I can.
