Why Robyn Hill is NOT a Terrorist
A lot of critics of Robyn Hill call her selfish, and General Ironwood altruistic.
But let’s look at Robyn’s behavior vs Ironwood’s in Volume 7.
First? A terrorist is an individual who spreads terror, typically through acts of violence or oppression.
When we first get to Mantle, it’s being starved, nearly under Martial Law, and dissidents are being arrested left and right, including Robyn Hill’s supporters.
There is no military support for Mantle, and any huntsmen who try to protect mantle are arrested.
Two: Robyn is publicly supported by the Populace, Ironwood is not.
As we saw, Robyn’s supporters do not harass Weiss Schnee or team RWBY despite supporting Ironwood, meanwhile Ironwood sends his agents to enforce his authority on Mantle regularly, and the only huntsmen allowed in Mantle are those operating under his direct control.
May Marigold even abandoned her family to work with the Happy Huntresses and Mantle.
Three: After the election, Robyn and the Huntresses do not assault or attack Ironwood’s military, instead they non-violently steal the dust for Mantle’s support, while Mantle demands Ironwood non-violently increase aid to mantle.
Ironwood’s response? Increase his grip on Mantle, and arrest Robyn for interfering.
Four: When Yang and Blake insist on dialogue with Robyn, she’s not only open to it, but uses her semblance to confirm.
Upon learning that Ironwood has good intentions, she ceases her raids.
Five: Upon learning about Salem, Robyn works with Ironwood to restore Mantle’s trust in him.
Six: When Qrow and Robyn learn that Ironwood is abandoning Mantle as he originally was going to?
She ONLY attacks Clover not after Clover tries to arrest Qrow, but after Clover threatens to arrest her as well.
Robyn was standing up for Qrow, who was willing to protect Mantle.
Yang and Blake tried talking it out with Robyn rather than fighting it out…Ironwood tries intimidation.
Robyn was willing to talk before fighting.
So how is Robyn considered a bad person or a Terrorist again?
“Get ‘im, Fi!”
littleblackqrow:
“I dont know about Vale. I’m from Anima. Occasionally we found some wild peppers, or we found some when raiding a homestead or village, but for the most part…” Qrow shrugged. “Your aunt and I had a whole world opened up to us when we went to Beacon, and found a lot of it very spicy.”
“Blander food than Vale? Sounds like a nightmare.” Not that she was complaining about what Qrow made. Dry and burnt, she was still shovelling it down without complaint. It beat the heck out of trash can food. “You really need to cook with more than salt and water. Wood smoke isn’t a spice either.”
littleblackqrow:
He chuckled and shook his head, “You definitely got your taste for it from your mother. I’ve never been able to handle it.” Salt tended to be the most common seasoning the Tribe used. Salt and natural herbs.
“But you might be right.” Maybe they had a mild sauce somewhere in the fridge.
“Maybe? I don’t really remember her enough to know. My working theory is that Vale’s just allergic to seasoning,” she said, taking the siracha from the cupboard. “Everything in Vacuo has plenty of spice, and not just heat. Mistral was pretty good.”
littleblackqrow:
“A rice and chicken dish.” Qrow pinched the bridge of his nose as he pulled it out of the oven. The chicken was still edible, it would just be dry. And the rice had begun to blacken around the edges of the casserole dish. Salvageable, but a bitch to clean off.
“Well, it’s nothing that ketchup or hot sauce and a tall glass of water can’t fix.” She was used to eating things she probably shouldn’t, and this was a feast compared to some meals she had.
She pulled out plates and forks, trying to be optimistic. “If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, hot sauce will make anything taste good.”
littleblackqrow:
“Oh fuck, the oven!” So much for a simple casserole for dinner.
“Rest in pieces... what was it supposed to be?”
@littleblackqrow
“... what is that smell?”
@noirdonna sent: [ CUDDLE ] for the taller muse to the big spoon.

Emerald found Blake in their room. The other woman had seemed off all day, quiet and reserved, barely adding to the conversation at all unless she was directly questioned. She’d also vanished without anyone noticing, slipping from the room in a blink.
Well, everyone except Emerald. She could relate to wanting to disappear.
She climbed into the bed behind her without saying a word, instead pressing her lips to Blake’s shoulder as she wrapped her arms around her from behind.
She could wait until Blake was ready to talk, if she was at all.
@rcbelhearted sent: [ CLIMB ] for the shorter muse to find somewhere to perch so they can be eye level with taller muse. (kali, kali, kali!)
---
Kali’s ears twitched at the sound of a wooden chair scraping over the floor. Suspicion turned into annoyance as Fiona halted before her and climbed onto it, just to lean over her to continue her tirade over the pizza Kali had ordered.
“It’s just one pi- how dare you,” she said, blue eyes flashing as she climbed up onto a bar stool, aiming for a little extra height over the other woman. She put her hands on her hips and leaned over, glaring. “It was just! One! Pizza! Some people happen to like it!”

The best part about Mercury’s math? Inevitably, she gets all the sweaters. They are hers now. She is an amalgamation of cosy.
rcbelhearted:
“But I’m baby.”
“Baby only goes so far, and it stops at willfully messing up the joint,” she said, giving Fiona a little boop on the nose.
courtclover:
@vox-omnium [ Kali ] asked: "I’m bored. Entertain me.“
“I’m cooking, Kali.” Clover explains to her. He can’t at the moment, but now that’s she’s here in the kitchen with him, Clover could use a taste tester.
“Here, try this for me.” Clover lifts sushi to her mouth to try and it’s the kind with a layer of cooked spam and a layer of cooked egg over rice, held together by a thin film of seaweed. No fish in this one, but Clover has several others rolls made in front of him. He’s trying his hand at making sushi.
“That’s Musubi.” Clover then gives her another piece of a different kind of sushi.
“Have this one next and tell me what think. It’s spicy tuna.”
When she spots him busy at the counter she huffs. Tasty food is incoming, which is a bonus, but she still has to wait. She leans back in a chair, resisting the urge to put her feet on the table if only so Clover doesn’t scold. She can behave, when she wants to.
Her ears perk when he turns around with a little morsel for her to try. Now this was the kind of test subject she could get used to being.
When he offers the sushi, she sniffs it. Spam. She’d eaten plenty of canned meat as a kid, and has no trouble eating it right from his fingers.
“Mmm.” Her ears wiggle as she chews and swallows. “Men who can cook are so sexy.”
When Clover offers the next she opens her mouth, her blue eyes dancing with amusement.
rcbelhearted:
“There go my plans for the evening.”
“I will make you clean it up.”
“Just don’t mess up my bar, okay?”
“Still tall enough to take you out.”
