Since this post has gotten a fair amount traction, thought I’d explain one of the details ive included, being the lil dog with the pink telephone!

The dog is Pushinka! (Russian for Fluffy),

”Pushinka arrived at the Kennedy White House after Jacqueline Kennedy had spoken to Khrushchev about Strelka at a state dinner in Vienna. Mrs. Kennedy asked about Strelka's puppies, and one was subsequently sent by Khrushchev to the White House” - Per her wikipedia article.

She’s a rare example of some kind of goodwill during the Cold War, so for Historical ship like this one I had to include her. The style she’s drawn in is inspired by Nora Sawyer’s interpretation of her in a fictionlized story!

Thought I talk about some of the elements I incorporated into this artwork because I love doing that

The girl featured is the “Pastel Goth” girl which you’d see on those “Which girl are you?” Posts from back in the day, If you know the original artist please let me know.

I wanted to include some of the other girls but she was to only one that fit the color palette, rip.

The major centerpiece of this art is the Unicorn Frappuccino (Techinacally that drink came out in 2017 but shh), it was apart of the major trend during the 2010s of unicorns being everywhere

Instead of the starbucks logo, I replaced it with unicorn pusheen!! Because this was her peak, love her.

That specific mustache was just everywhere during the 2010s, could not not include it.

Galaxies ofc needed to be here, you saw it literally everywhere, if you played roblox at the time yk.

Keep calm, which was the slogan you could say defined the early 2010s, so I included it.

And I added that color filter everyone used
