When I look at this picture, I see a child who should be allowed to enjoy a beautiful moment without fear or worry. But I am writing this because I need help providing basic essentials for my family.
I am sharing this because I want people to see him first, and to remember that behind every fundr@iser_ there is a real family trying to hold on.

i know i’m just in a bad mood but this push to re-categorize every kind or moral human action as inherently punk and cool is fucking cringe because you’re showing your ass about your priorities. as a visibly alt queer myself, who gives a FUCK if being nice is “punk”? just be nice because it’s nice. i’m not giving you special scene brownie points for it?? and you don’t even listen to punk music or care about the history? so why do you care about being “punk”?? The world thinks the war is over. It is not.
The bombing has never stopped. The news you see about calm or a truce is not the reality we are living. Every single day there are explosions, people dying, and children being killed in cold blood.
Families like mine are still trapped in fear, trying to survive one day at a time while the world moves on as if everything is fine.
I am asking for help because we truly cannot survive this alone anymore. If you are able to donate, even a small amount can help us get food, basic necessities, and a little safety in the middle of this nightmare.

My child shivers from the bitter cold; his tiny body is too weak for this frost, and his cough tears at my heart every night. I sit beside him in the darkness, anxiously counting his breaths, watching his small chest rise and fall, and wondering: how much longer can he endure this?
He should be dreaming… playing… laughing with the innocence of a child, not fighting every night to stay warm. Every passing moment, I feel the cold stealing something irreplaceable from him.
I love when people ask "how did you learn this skill?" I just started, there's no secret. that's it. a vast majority of the time the only thing holding you back is your trepidation to start.
Support Sudanense families and a community kitchen
Thomaserena has been fundraising to help families in Sudan as well as a community kitchen. Donations have been slow for the last two months, leaving Thomaserena to try and cover the expenses out of his own pocket. He and his family are trying to rebuild their own lives after evacuating Sudan. It is not sustainable for him to keep shouldering this financial responsibility.
We need to come together to donate what we can to help reach the goals for this month.
The gofundme, which is supporting individual families, needs to reach 55k.
The chuffed fundraiser for the community kitchen needs to reach 18k. They are still trying to fix the broken water line and are having to pay for water tankers in the mean time.
