Regulus shakes his head, pushing away James’ advances to grab him again, “Do I have to drag you out the door?” 

“I wouldn’t mind that,” James jokes, just to get hit in the stomach. “Alright, you don’t have to,” James says, sitting up, kissing Regulus’ cheek quickly before he can protest. “I’ll go… leave you here lonely without me…” he calls out dramatically as he walks towards the closet. 

Regulus just hums softly, falling back against the blankets pulling them up to his shoulders, “Pick up some milk on the way home we’re out.” 

James scoffs, “That’s it? No, I’ll miss you? No, stay right here, never leave?”

Regulus turns slowly, blinking tiredly over at him, hiding a smile, “That’s overdoing it a little bit.” 

James jumps back on the bed, scrambling until he’s on top of Regulus, who pushes him away to no avail, “You love me.” 

“You’re gonna be late,” Regulus laughs, and it’s the most beautiful sound James has ever heard. It doesn’t matter that they’re pushing against his chest, trying to get him away, not very hard, might he add.

When regulus gets sick, James would be running around trying to take care of Regulus, even if Regulus acts like a cunt when he isn't well. James would be like the Jamesie he is.

But when James is sick, Regulus would be so, so sweet towards James, so patient and loving that James would get cured very quickly. He would make him soup (effie's recipe), always be by his side and kiss his eyelids when he wanted James to sleep.
