VtM Queen City Slaughter

13 dead sound drained of blood at the same time one crisp spring morning in various locations of Cincinnati. The players are tasked with finding the masquerade breakers and bringing them to the judgement of the Prince. But more is afoot in the Queen City, and not everyone will survive.

So I think it would be cool if anyone wanted to throw some NPC ideas at me and I can mold them into my chronicle! Obvs I’m not stealing any characters to make money on, but I would potentially make art of them! I think that would be fun to expand on in the near future :) thanks to everyone for the support, it’s so nice to see people enjoying Vampire the Masquerade content ❤️❤️❤️

And my first character of the blog - I think it only fair it be the first character I created for this chronicle! This is Voltaire, and he uses He/They pronouns. Voltaire inhabits the library in Cincinnati (The Main Library that got torn down for the dumbest reasons like being structurally unsound). He is a font of knowledge, but you have to really decipher meanings from the things he says.

Voltaire is French, as the name would imply, and yes, of relation to the real life Voltaire because I’m insane lol Their sire is THE Voltaire, and his design will come sometime when I finish it. He’s just lines now, so I gotta color.

Voltaire is also one of the characters that my players encounter first, and is going to be recurring as they need occult knowledge or simple insights they are happy to supply.

My completely historically accurate M. De Voltaire. It’s true, you don’t have to look it up lol

He isn’t all that fleshed out yet as a character, but he is a Malkavian, and I tell my players his mental illness is being French 🤭 No, but it’s more of a sociopathy geared disorder, on the obsessive side. I’ll find just the right one soon! And when I do, I’m sure I’ll also have more art of him and his mini Voltaire lol

Two of my absolute favorites! Ulrich Hite is an ancient Nosferat and has a finger on the pulse of every thread of information in the underground of Cincinnati. He is fair, elegant, and honest. But he is also rule abiding and prefers order over all. As they say, the only sure things in life are death and taxes, and Ulrich does not work for free. But anyone can pay for his services. Such is his way. He is a German noble from the distant past, and even in life he was known as an ugly man. In his undeath, little has improved. Though many do tell him he is fortunate, for a Nosferat. It could be so much worse, they say. But he is used to being valuable only for his uses.

Serenade is the sweet southern belle of the ball, as it were. She sings at a music club on Thursday nights under the guard of her protective older sister, Evangeline. She is a gentle woman, but she speaks from the heart and can’t be deterred once she puts her mind to something. Serenade didn’t want to go into church work like her sister, and so she earns a modest living serving during the daylight hours. She is an absolute star even there, with regulars that would lay their lives down for her, given the chance. She is turned in the course of this chronicle, and the story is absolutely one of my favorites I’ve ever written, and I might make a little novella out of it. No idea what I’d do with it lol maybe just throw it up here for people to read for free.

Yes, they get married. Yes I love them and they love each other. And he tells her ever day how beautiful and wonderful she is, and how lucky is to have her. And she tells him every day how beautiful he is and makes him almost cry when she does.

Hello! An introduction - this is my first delve into Vampire the Masquerade, and I am so excited to be writing my first Chronicle. As a human bound to the hellhole that is Cincinnati, it seemed only fitting that I create this Chronicle around it!

I wanted to make this blog for a couple reasons, but largely because there are some stories and characters that I just love so much and I would really like to share with the world. We are just two scenes in, and so far having a blast! This is going to be very sporadically updated as I finish pictures and profiles, as well as stories and quests. I hope everyone enjoys seeing my characters and reading about their rough lives in the Queen City of Ohio!
