Ok since vulcans have mating seasons (their pon farr) it means they have estrous cycles and not menstrual cycles which means that they don't have menses.

Imagine a vulcan learning for the first time that human women bleed from their vaginas for a week every month.

Just trying their best to master their emotions and be all calm, like "what a fascinating yet odd physiological phenomenon"

While inside they're like "what the fuck? What the fuck??? what the FUCK!? WHAT! THE! ACTUAL! FUCK! IS! WRONG! WITH! HUMANS!?!?"

Meanwhile a klingon would be like "BLEEDING IS THE SIGN OF A TRUE WARRIOR! THIS IS GLORIOUS!!"

Been thinking about Vulcans and aging. I get that they live to be 200+ so they look younger longer. Tuvok though was pushing 100 and still looked pretty young whereas Sarek had quite a bit of gray hair not much older. Yes, people age at slightly different rates and stress and health and all that affects people differently. I'm still not quite sure where to put Solok. Over 70, but not 100? Over 100 but colors his hair? Let's see... Solok and vanity...

I'm probably losing my mind, but was the Saratoga lost at Wolf 359 the same one from Star Trek IV that had its power drained by the probe? Weren't they both Mirandas?

They have different registry numbers so maybe not, but wth? Why two Saratogas with different registry numbers, but the same starship class? Saratoga A instead? Make it make sense.

Edit: So apparently the one from TVH was restored and preserved so yes, two different Miranda class Saratogas.

So... This is a longshot, but what if Sarek and Lwaxana hook up or whatever (before Perrin and Ian, I guess?) and Lwaxana has Sybok. Somehow (details TBD, probably involves Q because I can be a lazy writer like that) Sybok is sent back in time where he's found and adopted by Sarek and T'Rea. No one knows what to make of Sybok because he's a force of nature like his mom, but no one knows he's half Betazoid because they hadn't even discovered Betazoids back then.

T'Rea decides to pursue the kolinahr after several years of Sybok's eccentricities for some peace and quiet.

Sarek, single again, decides to pursue human women for reasons even he doesn't understand.

I mean, if Sarek wasn't married to Perrin, I could see Sarek having a rare one night stand or fling. He rebels to a small degree, at least with these non Vulcan women he likes to marry. Must be where Spock gets it.
