It’s fun to think that yes, even though the federation has been formed and everyone’s allies now, the Andorians, Vulcans and Tellarites all still fight about a lot of things and get into a bunch of disputes with each other and because these arguments happen so often they basically have a rule that anytime it looks like there’s going to be another all-out war they call the humans.
“The Vulcans-“ Call the humans.
“But the Andor-“ Call. The. Humans.
“Tella-“ CALL. THE. HUMANS.
They literally solved hundred-year-old issues by doing the military version of slapping a friendship bracelet on everyone and telling them to play nice with each other and somehow it WORKED. Pick up the damn padd and call the humans.
So you know how arguing is a very important part of Tellarite culture?
Just imagine Spock and Dr. McCoy having one of their classic arguments within earshot of some Tellarite delegates or something and they just immediately gain the Tellarites’ respect without even trying.

The Worlds of the Federation (1989)
Art by Don Ivan Punchatz
Cover art: Melkot, Klingon, Gorn, Romulan, Andorian, Phylosian, Benzite, two Bynars, Tellarite, Tribbles, Saurian, and Ferengi:
Page 1: Excalbian, Tholian, Horta with egg nodules
Page 2: Mugato, M-113 Creature
Page 3: Targ, Scora, Denebian Slime Devil
Page 4: Capellan Power Cat, Berengarian Dragon
Page 5: Eelbird, Le-matya, Sehlat
Page 6: Beauregard Weeper, Talosian Singing Plant, Mako Root Plant, Kaferian Apples, Spore Plant, Piersol's Traveller
I've seen some of this art work before, but never all in one place. What a wonderful mix of TOS, TAS, and TNG season 1 aliens! I especially love the Tholian before Enterprise showed us their full body.
It seems the original art for Mugato/M-113 Creature has been lost so that page is scanned from the book. All the other pieces of art have been auctioned off in recent years.

I feel like in a better universe, instead of people talking about their Hogwarts houses, they’d talk about which of the 4 founding Federation members they like best or most identify with. I suppose it could still happen. I could see Tellarites replacing Gryffindor, Humans replacing Hufflepuff, Vulcans replacing Ravenclaw, and Andorians replacing Slytherin.
Another soft round!!! 💞🍾

Do they have any collections?
Lion therapist
What's their favorite comfort food that they eat when they're sad?
And back to our asking roots with Ceicive and Wilvous cause I love them.
What's something they do absentmindedly that their partner (if they have one) finds adorable
Yay!!! 💕🥂
Lukoroh: Do they have any collections?:
Yes! Little souvenirs from the various museums he's visited over the course of his work! Some have to do with exhibits he's helped to contribute to, some are based off of completely unrelated exhibits, and some are really just little toys with no connection to much of anything they were just in the gift shop XD

Oh I actually love this one!!! :D <3
He likes these little popsicle treats that are made from frozen blood (kind of like what lions in zoos are given as enrichment and to cool off in the summer! <3)
The one's he likes are 1. usually replicated, 2. much smaller, and 3. either actual popsicles or little cubes.
And back to our asking roots with Ceicive and Wilvous cause I love them.: What's something they do absentmindedly that their partner (if they have one) finds adorable:
Aghhhh my two first little sweethearts!! <3 <3 🦎 🐗
Ceicive:
So a lot of what he does is at least moderately intentional, but he does have a few unconscious behaviors!
When they're close to each other (lying down or sitting closely) Ceicive will coil up closer to Wilvous to bask in the heat he puts off
The way he perch-style sits on desks or couch arms and the like
and the way that, instead of laughing outright, he'll sort of double over shaking and twitching, sometimes covering his mouth reflexively like sound's going to come out. It freaked Wilvous out the first time he saw him do it, but once he realized what a genuine reaction of mirth it is he loves it <3
Wilvous
He makes little snort-grunts when he's deeply focused on a project in engineering or painting
The fact that he'll absentmindedly put anything into his pockets. They have to keep a little basket next to their fabric recycler for whatever stray tools/PADDS/art stuff/misc bits fall out when they're turned out
When they're cuddling on the couch he flops (honestly pretty forcefully) against Ceicive in relaxation (especially if he falls asleep like that and becomes a big loud blanket XD <3)
