I’ve Officially Moved!
It’s going to take awhile to get used to having two different blogs, but I think I’ll get the hang of it. I’m kind of excited to be honest!
The reason I moved was to lessen the confusion on why I had two blogs (one for the main, and one for asks), and not to have people feel hurt when I couldn’t follow back. Also it’ll be easier to keep track of all my rp stuff.
Let me know if anything is weird or not working properly, thanks!

“It’s not my problem that there’s a twig stuck in your toe.” Airin had recently recovered from a Greyface’s magic. He still remembered everything that happened when he was a pup. How did he even manage to get out here with those nubby legs? Why did Helm claim him as his? The Felicid was highly irritated by that fact. So irritated that he refused to leave nest if Helm offered to help him leave.
“You’ve probably had that happen to you a hundred times.” He scoffed, laying on the very edge of the nest. Staying as far away from Helm as he could. “You don’t need my help.”
“The only one being an irritating rat here is you.” The Felicid turned to face Helm. His eyes locked onto the ones hidden behind a mask of insecurities, and didn’t show any signs of being aggressive. “You’re trying to start a pointless fight here. Even you should know that I care about my family. I’ve already told you, I’m stalling, and that’s because of my family. I don’t need you to try to tell me how I feel.”
Airin couldn’t stand Helm anymore. He told him that they were friends once but, but… That was in the past. If Helm was his friend he would never try to push him away. Airin’s mane puffed to twice his size, fangs bared as his emotion took over. “You’re the one that threw me into a coma! The one that destroyed half the temple! The one that ripped Thalia’s arm off! You’ve done more damage than I ever could do to them!”
The Helmaroc King faces the fluffed-out Felicid by fluffing out his own feathers, hissing loudly at the other creature as he does so. So, Airin really thought that what Helm had done was really so bad? Deep down, Helm knew that that he’d done had been horrible things. But Helm had done all those things in the spur of the moment, without thinking about the consequences. He’d done his best to make amends with Thalia, and had even assisted in rebuilding the Temple. The only thing he hadn’t done was make up with Airin- mainly because the Felicid was so difficult.
“At least I’ve tried to make up for what I’ve done wrong!” Helm’s words were punctuated with a loud growl, which ended up garbling most of what he tried to say. “I’ve tried to make it up to the people I’ve hurt, but you? You just keep defending that monster you call your brother! Have you forgotten that he killed me? And yet you still defend him. Not only that, but do you really think you’re doing any of your ‘friends’ a favor by sticking around if you’re only going to abandon them anyway??”
By this point, the growl was taking over most of what he had to say. His feathers were standing on end, and the bird tries to shake his head to try and calm himself. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work. Helm tries to say something else, but all that comes out are garbled growls.
Airin couldn’t even understand what nonsense was spewing out of Helm’s mouth. The bird looked like a madman squawking at him. It wasn’t a pretty sight either, but he didn’t look away. He had to stand his ground; keep his limbs straightened pridefully as he took the verbal punches (which he could barely make out).
“Calm down would you?” Airin’s voice sounded defeated, but really he was tired of this broken record. “I told you because I thought you wouldn’t care if I left. But it’s clear that you still care about me.” He his gaze lingered on Helm for a heartbeat more before breaking away. Airin never wanted to start a fight. “Nothing lasts forever. I want to enjoy being with the people I love, and I will tell them, but not now. My departure is still in the distant future.”

He was still going at it, huh? Telling him everything he already knew, so Helm’s insults didn’t sink deep. “Why do you care if I leave? Is it because I would hurt people?” Airin responded nonchalantly, not flinching when Helm’s shadow loomed over him. He knew all too well Helm wouldn’t mind killing him. “You would hurt them even more if you did try to kill me. Would they believe you if you told them I was going to leave anyway? No, they would hate you.”
Airin rose from his seated position and trotted along the outer edge of the nest. He didn’t bother looking at Helm. Instead when he was in his own bubble again he called out to something by chirping.
What Airin said was true. Even if he was planning on leaving anyway, people would be hurt and angry if Helm tried to kill the Felicid. The bird growls as Airin calmly trotted along the outer edge of the nest, Helm’s head turning to follow Airin’s movements. Gods, this creature could be so infuriating at times…
Helm turns to face Airin, doing his best to ignore the twig in his foot. He could deal with that another day. Right now, he had something much more irritating to deal with. “You’re more irritating than a rat, do you realize that? Of course the reason I care is because people will miss you. You’re going to abandon everyone, and I bet you won’t even care once you’re gone.” Huffing, the bird finishes by saying, “I bet you’ll be glad to be gone. Once you’ve abandoned everyone who ever cared about you, you’ll be happy to know your so-called friends are suffering.”

No, this isn’t an April Fools prank!
For at least five months now I’ve been wanting to become a blog-blog rather than a side-blog, and now that time has finally come!
Within this month (date will be announced later on) I’ll be making the full switch over to xvulpes-airin. I will leave this blog for recs and memories, so don’t worry, I’m not deleting it.
So why don’t you go follow? I’m following everyone back!

Airin held his ground. He didn’t give Helm any reaction or emotion. It wasn’t like he hasn’t thought of any of this before. Airin knew Thalia and Keirin would be heartbroken. There were reasons he always kept to himself in the shadows and rarely ever showed himself to anyone back in the Temple. But that was when he first arrived there. He didn’t want to be friends with anyone because he knew one day he would have to leave.
He kept a level, precise tone. “I’m sorry, I don’t talk to trash.”
Oh, Airin was just asking Helm to attack him. The helmaroc King stands up suddenly, wincing at the slight pain in his foot from the twinge, and takes a challenging step towards Airin. But luckily, the bird stops himself from trying to kill the Felicid. After all, harming him hadn’t worked out so well last time.
“Awfully hypocritical, aren’t you? Calling me trash, when you’re the one abandoning your friends and family. If you say it’s true you can’t avoid leaving, then I’d kill you myself just to get it over with. But you know what? I don’t bother with diseased mutts like you.”
